It's easy to say that when you're seeing the X ray and have a clear understanding of the situation + no pressure but in the heat of the moment it's way more difficult to make the right choice, especially when you have an aggressive playstyle. Sometimes it will work, sometimes not.
Now, I'm not saying that Apex is never doing mistakes. He does, and his mistakes tend to stand out because of the way he likes to rush and play contact. I've been a fan of every roster he's been in with NBK since 2015. I don't know how many times I've been frustrated to watch him go straight into an opponent crosshair without understanding the logic behind his move. But he's still there for a reason and with solid stats overall, that speaks for itself. (and obviously he can improve, without a doubt he's been losing rounds on his own like his teammates)
