I already read your posts that's why I commented, dont need to do it again. Yes if the best players in the region split up it would create more "good" teams but it would lessen the chances that one of those teams would be a dominant team.
"The teams are overall worse this days player by player"
Lmao this is a ridiculous claim. Astralis is a modern team and they are the best roster ever created, liquid the same and are the most skilled.
Good cores stick together because theres no one better than them. Take MiBR for example, even though they heavily dropped off there were still no players in BR that could replace them until Furia came along. You cant just remove players without having a proper solution, especially when many of these rosters have found success in the past, its natural to attempt to replicate your successes.
MiBR overall is a better team than they were in 2016/17 it's just that being slightly better than a version of yourself 2 years ago isnt enough to be a top team today. Other teams such as Liquid, Astralis, and Vitality have made leaps and bounds in their innovation, teamwork, and structure.
"Some teams arent even looking better stratwise"
What even is your point? Obviously not EVERY team kept up with the meta. But every team that did looks way better than the teams that did in 2016. That's just how it works. Theres more available knowledge , more repetition, more drive, and just way more detail overall. Mid-rounding as spunj has said many times was barely a thing when he played, it was completely execution based. Now there's way more rotations, fakes, pauses, and layers in general to teams approach.
