use 'cos' for this formula. co-linear means parallel therefore the angle is 0, and thus cos(0) = 1

I assumed it was cross product because it says vector c, which implies the answer is a vector, eliminating dot product as a possibility. I wouldn’t know though, I literally just searched it on google and try to solve from there. I assume you are more confident, so I have faith in your answer.
