What celebrity would you revive?
 |
Denmark JustYes
If you could revive one celebrity, who would you revive, and why? I would probably choose Paul Walker. He was my favourite actor and he seemed like a very genuine and nice person. I'm a big fan of the Fast & Furios movies and I loved Brian O'Conner as a character too. I just wish Paul could come back :(

Yeah I agree, Paul Walker and Vin Diesel were so good together. But don't forget about this, Brian O'Conner is still alive in the Fast & Furious universe. But I still really enjoyed watching The Fate of The Furious (Fast8), mainly because of Jason Statham & Vin Diesel

When I went to school we didn't get to read about Nikola Tesla at all. No teacher even mentioned him ONCE. So if it wasn't for the internet, I wouldn't even know that he even existed.

Stephen hawking or albert einstein. Might as well pick someone who could be useful for our species survival instead of someone who can make action movies..

I understand that, but you're wrong on one part, Paul Walker wasn't just "someone who could make action movies". He was so much more than that. But it would indeed be smart to bring someone like Einstein back

He and his holy movie franchise single handedly created a generation of retarded dipshits throwing all their money into bling bling rims and cup holders for their shit car, while burning fuel without any purpose besides their own fun, being loud faggots and risking peoples lives. He even died one of these dipshit deaths and you still glorify him? After all the movies he even believed in this shit himself.

no one because it's impossible, first of, you cannot go back in time and second of all, everything is predetermined, which means that the earliest moment in the past has already established the furthest point in the future and that's the one and only possible course of life

Everything is predetermined, really? God has all your shits scheduled for your entire life?

it's not about god, it's about law of causation, which means that every cause has its effect for example, you could observe a leaf falling onto the ground and say exactly when and where it will fall if you had the knowledge about all the neccesary data like wind, weight of the leaf etc. but because the depth of knowledge you would need in order to "predict" any event, even as small as the one above, it seems impossible to do since you would always need an infinite knowledge

So who or what has this knowledge and determines everything. To me it seems like you took Ashton Kutcher too serious in the butterfly effect

either god if he exists or no one so you're implying that if there's something out there that no one knows of, it doesn't exist? and btw i just told you that it's "cause and effect" that determines everything, it's a law of nature
2019-07-15 03:17

 |

cause and effect is far from the same as stating everything is predetermined. So you believe that all your choices in life is irrelevant because your destiny and path is already set?

yes, you don't have a free will, you make actions based on your motivations/motives or instincts
2019-07-15 03:29

 |
Europe PlatinumToe
well that is basically free will
2019-07-15 03:30

well it isn't since motives come from from external places like things you've experienced, not from within and you don't have control over them, in other words, if a certain motivation threshold will be crossed, you will execute that certain action

Yeah I agree but it was also partly the drivers fault, he was driving 90MPH on a 45 road and he lost control of the car. And the worst thing is that Paul survived the crash but died because he was stuck in the car.
