Faze is starting to work!

Europe MottoMottoOfHltv
First of all, I would like to say that with neo faze has gone to playoffs in 3/4 big events they have played. With AdreN they had 3/7 Playoffs So immediately you see faze way better in placings. Sure they won 2 events with AdreN but both of those events were an invitational with really bad teams (C9, Big and Complexity) and If faze lost that event It would be humiliating and a blast pro event which was Niko just being the god on the server, facing a still chocking LULquid in the finals They have a better structure way faster than when Niko was IGL which took them almost 6 months to have mediocre strats while with Neo I can already see better strats since Dallas but in order for the strats to work, the team has to do a lot of practise to succed. This small VACation is what is needed for Nygaard and koVAC and koVACs to work on their slump. We will see a very good faze at the major I believe But what does that mean??? I believe faze WILL reach playoffs and there is not a doubt about that. That being said, there aren't many teams that can actually beat faze rn. Vitality, Liquid and Navi and maybe Astralis are the only ones that can win against faze on a regural basis from now on. I believe a semi or even a final is very possible for faze but no matter who they will faze at the final It will be extremely hard for faze to play good. Faze will be a big threat in the second half of this year. I expect them to win a couple of good tourneys and do many upsets with GOD Nijo

TL DR but No, they dont
2019-07-15 10:03
They do??? Placings speak for themselves

Faze is the worst team of the scene, they just basically buy players with titles and expect it to work No personality team

With that flair I assume you are still living in early 2018. Nt
2019-07-15 10:06
True, they just pick players that irrelevant but they won major 999 years ago
2019-07-15 10:07
2/5 of faze members have won a major. Less that the majority so its the minority so your statement is false. Nt

Obviously I talk about karrigan's replacements

They had bad results with karrigan, that was the reason why he had gone. FaZe needed to change their playstyle- change IGL
2019-07-15 11:12
this too, but they need step up individually aswell

You need to understand that FaZe has players from different countries, playing and practising from a different location so there is some coordination issue. Also, the players worked their Ass of the become your so-called" Players with Titles"
2019-07-15 10:12
He propably thinks guardian and olof were carried to win 17 and 24 tournaments lel

how is c9 a bad team if they won 2-0 in the first round, you got lucky in the final and deserved to lose and you know it, if you watched to final
2019-07-15 10:06
Even Thorin said it was a shock that Cloud9 almost won faze. "ALMOST" Faze should win that game 10/10 times easily. Cloud9 played way better that they should. And for your info I am a faze fan since I want to say Miami. I wanted cloud9 to win that invitational. But facts are facts and you can't deny it Proof: youtube.com/watch?v=AhjnMRb2mcs&t=792s (1:15 if it doesn't tag it)

lmao thorin said so its a fact ? thats not how it works there is no facts, the only fact is that c9 played better than faze in both matches, it doesnt metter if they played better that they should, rewatch the grand final c9 had control of all three maps and got unlucky, in fact, c9 won 3 maps against faze that event while faze won only 2
2019-07-15 10:15
I prefer to take Thorin's opinion as an esport historian watching the scene for almost 20 years rather than Ystyg a guy that has an hltv account since 2018 with a biased opinion since he is a cloud9 fan

well i dont take his opinion, and not every thing thorin is saying is true and a FACT
2019-07-15 10:38
I would say he is 90% accurate and trust me, I have doubted him many times but he has already predicted so I can trust him most of the time

i think its kind of weird that your opinions are just what he says tbh, i think every one should have their own thoughts but you do you
2019-07-15 10:43
Obviously I form my own opinion, trusting someone and taking his opinion into consideration is what I am trying to tell you
2019-07-15 10:48
FaZe deserved to win that match and they did win :)

you should watch the final
2019-07-15 16:03
You're a cloud9 fan so your opinion is obviously bias but if cloud9 really did deserve to win that final they would have won it.

as i said, in my opinion c9 played better than faze in that final, i am not taking anything from faze but its stupid to call c9 a bad team when they pretty much played better than faze
2019-07-15 16:18
Even Kio admitted that c9 were in deep shit because of the roster issues and said the whole situation was handled extremely poorly. The glimpse of good form c9 had in that tourney was a miracle

it doesnt matter what happend in that time, they played good that tournament i dont get why is everyone arguing about that
2019-07-15 16:28
You literally said FaZe got lucky which is massive BS. C9 at the time (and arguably still) was a broken squad, and their poor results subsequent to the tourney prove that they just got lucky against FaZe
2019-07-15 16:39
Nope, lost to C9 and only beat shit teams.
2019-07-15 10:11
NRG is top5 and has beaten almost any team in csgo. They lost 3-0 to faze. Sure they have a new IGL. But faze has a new IGL too. actually NRG beat faze with stan at cologne 2-0. Pretty good imo. It seemed they underestimated C9 because there is no other justification for it. Against Mibr well lucas played really good Ez against renegades Really bad against liquid on groups. On finals it should be a third map because Faze could beat Nuke if they stopped fapping so much. All in all, very good performance for a "Dead Team" to reach finals
2019-07-15 10:22
MIBR and renegades both trash lmao. It was 100% expected for FaZe to reach the final looking at the competition.
2019-07-15 10:23
Sorry, but on the semis, all analysts said 2-0 for NRG and faze stomped on them. They were surprised that faze played so well even seangares said that faze has started to work. They actually said that there is a chance for faze to even beat liquid. Also that 16-14 against Mibr was only because Lucas1 played that good. Also renegades are a decent top 15 team and generally all of the teams including cloud9 are top15. Can't take anything out from faze they played great and it is starting to show the potential they have
2019-07-15 10:27
Didn't listen to analysts because they are usually plebs. I was 100% confident that faze can take down NRG in the semis, as they had taken them down earlier as well on nuke.
2019-07-15 10:30
That's your opinion which I had too. But, saying that the analyst desk is bad is another story. Analysts know the fundamentals of counter strike way better than all of us and even though I some times take their predictions and analyzing with a grain of salt, they are accurate most of the time

NEO is still bot and needs replacement Olof is pale shadow of his own self
2019-07-15 10:29
Neo doesn't need to frag if he has rain, Niko and guardian on the same team... no need to replace IGL As for olof, he is playing really well lately and while I agree that he is a shadow of his former glory, it's bound to happen to every superstar in this game at some point with rare exceptions (F0REST)
2019-07-15 10:36
-Rain +Cold -Liazz +Rain Ez fix for FaZe and Renegades
2019-07-15 10:29
Maybe -Olof +Sunny too
2019-07-15 10:30
hltv.org/forums/threads/2087351/only-log.. I agree with the rain move. It will be really good for both teams and instant improvement. But, If you get cold you don't need a 3rd entry so Olof is good there :c

with that lineup faze should be getting semis minimum and winning majors and big tournaments not just getting playoffs. They have currently 4 players that can be apart of the top 10 and should be
2019-07-15 10:42
3 members, Olof is not that good anymore :( They have gotten to 2/4 semis which is again pretty nice. They have been in a slump for almost 6 months now and there are signs that they are starting to become good ol faze again
2019-07-15 10:49
tbh I'm not buying it anymore from faze. The org is dealing with so much shit because they are slimy fucks and the team is no longer living up to its name. If they don't get coldzera they are going to be borderline top 10. Also, if niko doesn't get that ego in check NEO will be kicked and the team will be worse because there is no decent replacement for NEO unless Fallen wants to hopefully not destroy his career by joining faze
2019-07-15 11:06
1 million to get coldzera LUL. not gonna happen
2019-07-15 12:45
NT NIKO, but remember about mousesporst and Karrigan.

Faze is stupid, coz they assume that neo doesn't need to frag at all and he keeps dropping weapons to niko rain or olof, playing with just a pistol or an smg himself, killing his own confidence and fragging ability. Of course this could work if they'd still be the fragging machines they once used to, but now we rarely see even one of them stepping up. I think they should change their approach towards neo as a scapegoat and try to play as 5 players instead
2019-07-15 11:19
Giving good weapons to teammates that are more capable of you doesn't ruin your confidence, he is doing it because he believes its the right thing After the break we might see a well established faze and thats all about it.
2019-07-15 12:43
giving good weapons to someone who's on 30 bomb or is just feeling it at the moment sounds pretty reasonable, not when someone's struggling to get more kills than deaths and neo has actually more frags at the moment

I was so happy watching them against NRG >..< Imo they will beat liquid someday, maybe they are really ready for the major. Imo, when playing against liquid, you should peek them, not get peeked or u are dead. The flashes and one taps are just too op if u are waiting around the corner. Go offensive, thoughts?
2019-07-15 16:06
thats not just against liquid thats true for cs in general. thats why its called "counter strike" instead of "sit and wait"

oh really? i was just saying that liquid is only about that. if they cannot find picks, they would lose more
