The problem in your definition is that you mix up logical statements with emotional judgements. I am with you that there are certain work types that arnt as honourable as others; running a betting office for example is kind bad for society, you dont make any productive sense, yet you work, advertise, calculate stuff. it is work to me. So is an influencer / artist. they create stuff for other people to look at / think about. It takes hours to do the make up, work out, connect to people you dont really want to just because of potential reach. It might be easy money at that scale, she surely has enough to not work anymore. Still, this is work to me. In a sense, every artist is parasitary btw. thats why economical definitions exclude judgement.
on a side note, I dont think the term work is even something to be proud about. It's just a deal.
