Have you ever heard of google you absolute fucking brainlet
PG point guard. Bring ball up, make plays. Center Shaquille Onea. Park your 350pounds directly under the basket, dominate. 3 other positions shoot threes and defend.
I only know the three point shooter 😎😎😎
So ez making shot from 3 point and half line 😎😎😎
Oh you think I'm going to rush in? Let me just take a step back and *woosh in the ball goes 😎😎😎
pg=floor general making plays carring ball looking, have to be decent defender atleast
sg most likely guy who take much shots, some of them creating their own shot some of them are catch&shooters and point guards have to made them open looks
sf can do almost everything, can stretch floor and shoot, can pass can rebound, glue guy(most likely cuz you have guys like KD who can drop 50 points outta nowhere)
pf stretching floor setting screens, smaller than center but can rebound as well sometimes can shoot
C strong tall dude,rebounding setting screens,protect paint,catching lobs
*all of positions are mean less in current day basketball cuz everyone want to shoot 3's even 7'1 centers and game starts to look different than before.
PF = Power Forward > Second tallest player of the team whose objective is combination of centers and guards, they can take shots like Guards and stay under the rim to score and defend like Centers. They are slower but taller than Guards, quicker but less powerful than Centers. (Known also as Number 4) (Example: Derrick Williams, Niccolo Melli, Anthony Randolph)
SF = Small Forward > Like PFs their roles are also combination of Guards and Centers. Good shooters and good defenders under the rim. Better shooters than PFs but not as strong as them (Known also as Number 3) (Example: Nikola Kalinic, Will Clyburn, Jeffery Taylor)
SG = Shooter Guard > One of the shortest players whose objective is obvly taking the shots thus they are good three pointers, also second passer right after PGs (Known also as Number 2) (Example: Shane Larkin, Melih Mahmutoglu, Cory Higgins, Fabien Causeur)
PG = Point Guard > One of the shortest players whose objective is to distribute ball among players and set the attack plan, they are playmakers, in short. (Known also as Number 1) (Example: Kostas Sloukas, Nando De Colo, Vasilije Micic, Facundo Campazzo)
C = Center > Tallest player in the team whose role is to stand still under the rim and score, they are also important players in the defense, they often try to defend opponent team's shooters so they can't take the shots easily, and defend his rim from opponent's center and take the rebounds. (Known also as Number 5) (Example: Brandon Davies, Jan Vesely, Walter Tavares, Bryant Dunston)
If you really want to watch good basketball where team plays and roles mean something, watch European basketball. More strats, more team plays, hardcore defense. European basketball is underrated asf.
