Caloric surpluss. You can eat sugar, you can eat fats, you can eat carbs, you can eat proteins... you can eat anything but as long as you eat in caloric deficit you can lose weight. people who know this and think its basic knowledge, trust me its not basic knowledge around here.

You can eat 1500 worth of calories of pizza, chicken and rice, burgers, fish and still lose weight, doesnt matter. You can eat pizza only, mc donalds only and still lose weight. But more healthy food options are better obviously. Calories in calories out is what counts.

Calorie surplus = Eating more then you should so no, unless your metabolism is really high or work out really hard. Calorie deficit = Eating less calories, results in weight loss.

The problem is that one burger is not filling but has lots of calories. So you will be hungry all day. Where are high protein foods are very filling but low calories
