S1mple is MAD
Belarus hltv_slayer
twitter.com/s1mpleO/status/1151972737725.. ZyWoo and Elige snooze on his throne and s1mple is actually motivated as heck now to show who is the real best player ever to touch the game. We will see s1mple 2.0 on the major

It helps you stay inform but there is only so much you can do to get better
2019-07-22 02:26
It is also true that if you don't grind, you slowly but surely start to lose your skills tho, right?

Of course but him doing it constantly isn’t really making him better
2019-07-22 02:37
ofc it does, what are you talking about.. any form of training will make you better unless you have hit your peak potential which you dont know if s1mple did.

It’s just my opinion that grinding games is not really benefiting you. Once you become so good there isn’t that much you can do to get better at besides form
2019-07-22 02:44
you can, in fact if you compare any pro from 3 years ago he would get shit on by an average pro now. The thing is the game is evolving and so are players. Everyone is constantly improving and it's only matter of how hard they grind. If they hit their peak they wont improve anymore but they still need to grind even after their prime to not lose the skill quickly. in esports you can't tell like in any other sport when is your prime since its not about age.

2019-07-22 12:56
Players can get better. S1mple is 21 years old, he can still get even better than he was
2019-07-22 12:56
he needs version 2.0 of his teammates too

2019-07-22 02:29
Look at you, all pedantic, referencing the NEW liquipedia tournament tiers. Anyway, do you remember the context of the original quote from s1mple from last year? It was in reference to Na’Vi’s performance against liquid. “Team Liquid, on American soil, has a unique aura that makes my team and I perform worse than our real capabilities. But we will remove this curse the next time we meet. And after the words of NAF, I will prepare for this game like never before. I will train hard to destroy this team” All that preparation hasn’t really helped though. I’m a big fan of zywoo and vitality btw. As a team, I think they have a great trajectory.

s tier, tier 1 who gives a shit at least u get my point. On a individual point he was more than ready, but something in the team was missing. Now it's just almost impossible even if he drops 50bomb liquid are too fucking good I swear
2019-07-22 08:57
omg why pp going crazy bcs of liquid "unbelievable skill", I respect them and they're great, but let's to be honest, S1mple>Liquid
2019-07-22 02:36
Like him or not, you still gotta give him a lot of respect and credit for staying so motivated and working on himself. I don't know how many other players would've already given up and accepted that they won't get anywhere with NaVi right now.
2019-07-22 02:41

So the same for Niko. But instead of practising he trash talks and chokes all day long. I guess he drinks more beer on a day than he practices in a week. Because it is your job or your life doesn't mean you do what is necessary or do more and keep motivated.

I don't see liquid's reign lasting long. They seem to bulldoze people with the most simplistic style ever seen in csgo. As soon as their form drops they won't be able to do anything. I guess the saving grace is that all 5 of their players are potential super stars, so as long as 1-3 of them are in good form they can still win. Right now all 5 of them are in hot form so it's hopeless for any team. It's not like Astralis' streak. They seemed to just be in control of every aspect of the game, not just run people over with insane skill.
2019-07-22 09:00
"They seem to bulldoze people with the most simplistic style ever seen in csgo." That was literally Astralis era with even lesser firepower. Astralis played the most perfect, efficient but simple CSGO ever scene at the top level. If they could keep it up for a year, I think Liquid will do just fine with even better overall firepower.

They didn't play simple cs. They would fuck with rotations so much. They were so dominant on Nuke because people didn't have a clue wtf was going on and then got shot in the back. Liquid just rushes all over the map but they don't care how many people are on the site because right now they can kill any amount of people.
2019-07-22 09:48
Their rotations was based on having a good read on their opponents. They didn't have fancy strats, no last second rush site bs, no insane never seen before executes nothing. It was plain simple cs played to perfection. Perfect comms, perfect trades, perfect set ups for your awper/star player. They did what anyone could do, but they did it perfectly. Liquid has a similar playstyle to that except they area bit more aggressive because they have a naturally aggressive player in Stewie and adequately skilled players to backup/trade if his aggressive plays fail. This Liquid team still has some way to go imo

I didn't mean their rotations. I mean fucking with their opponent's rotations. They would pressure different points on the map to force people into reacting and then they would gain control of areas they had no business controlling or killing people mid-rotation. That's not simple. It's the most advanced CS. You are adapting on the fly. There's only so much you can do execute-wise. Of course we're not gonna see them reinvent the wheel when it comes to executes. A new smoke here and there isn't gonna create a whole new look, it's 'just' an execute.
2019-07-22 11:37
I might be wrong, but that's literally the definition of anti-stratting, one of the most common aspect of pro CS. So it is still simple CS but done perfectly. As you said, they adapt on the fly, there is no fixed pattern here. Nothing deep or complex, just reading your opponents.
2019-07-22 11:48
what are you smoking? Astralis is one of the most tactical teams out there. They won because they had the most thought out strats and teamplay.
2019-07-22 11:51
The thing with liquid is that their players have always been insane so unless one of them loses their motivation and gets bored of winning i don't see them dropping out of their spot.

this is the only way to approach CSGO , no respect for trash like astralis who skip as many events possible to maintain their form disgusting you should play wherever you can play, because their carreer is over in no time anyway its not like they be playin CSGO when they are 50 years old smh, Astralis last year was dominant but they still skipped a shit ton, now they trash and still skip a shit ton what a joke look TL they fucking played 5 tournaments back to back in 2-3 months and won them all other teams ONLY attend like 2-3 t1 events so far this year what a JOKE. and there are T2-T3 teams trying their hardest in the qualifying system while those wasted teams are cashing in free invites smh.

I guess maybe was personal reasons to miss tours from exact players cuz they already understand that many teams can overtake them from #1. More interesting why navi was missed enought tours)

It's little bit different levels: there could be a good form from Elige or Nitr0, or someone else and level which will never be reachable: S1mple and probably next will be Zywoo.
