It is blur reduction done on the monitor. For example, when you are spraying with the AK in cs, it can be blurry/jittery to the eye. DyAc will supposedly reduce the blur and make it easier to see the person you are shooting. It helps a bit with gun sprays but I wouldn't consider it anything more than a nice-to-have
just buy 144Hz
240 hz doesn t show that much changes compared to 144 because human eye can't see it
and you'll get a lot of tearing in other games if you re computer doesn t run every other games by 260fps
intel core i5-7400, gtx 1050 ti 4gb, 16 gb ram, cs on ssd m.2
cs go stable 200-250 fps (even if fps go down to 200 fps i don't experience any tearing), other games like gta v or witcher about 70 fps and gameplay is still smooth
xl2540 if you don't care for dyac that much, you can still get basicly dyac with the xl2540 you just have to access the hidden menu (you can google how to access it np) but I heard the lighting is slightly better for dyac with the xl2546 and they advertise it better. If you don't care about dyac they are basicly identical and you can try and get a deal for 2540.
Dyac is a nice sprayfeeling but I felt like I performed better without it. Placebo is a bitch tho so, some pros use it but a lot don't.
Well benq monitors are fine, 240hz is 240hz, colours are not really important in cs, but I can agree that asus has better colours and better monitors overall
According to Linustechtips, asus actually makes the best 240hz
Buy any new gen model and you will be good. Don't listen to people that recommend BenQ crap. Acer Nitro XF252QX looks good tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/acer_nitro_xf25..
Check the review. There're more models to come as well.
240Hz will probably not give you an advantage over 144Hz if you are not at least some high Faceit level or even semi-pro. For me it's like less blury when moving around, still good on 144Hz. But answering the question: I personally use AW2518HF for like a month. I can't say anything against it. It is used in ELEAGUE events such as Premier but in version without "F" (AW2518H) so with G-Sync instead of FreeSync and some LED lightning but for much more. Since this monitor is confirmed by NVIDIA to be compatible with G-Sync and you dont need LED's I would go for it. I was wondering about AG251FZ because it is the same screen with different look and OSD and now I don't remember if it is fully confirmed G-Sync Compatible. You can look for some Zowies too of course. I just dont have an opinion about them because they were not in my budget.
