Yes it's me and here's proof: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetai.. Now I feel a slight relief, I couldn't walk away until I get there, on my own. Solo comp is a nice carnival, it's not as easy if you have principles. Now there's no care at all, bliss of a play.

How can you judge a person by his writing. Also this was about a topic, so its not like my personal opinion or temper is showing. I'm spitting straight facts, this is the case in MM, but you aren't trying to talk to your comrades about it, just blame it on other people

Thinks he's king of the world? I think he's just saying how much time he spent and that he had fun on the way there, I don't think he was specifically referring to himself and was just talking about Russians in general. He has a separate thread on this GE topic, many others have got GE much earlier and he'll know that. Its only forum mens no need for aggro))

You adapt to the level of players you play with, unless the gap in skill is really significant. It's not like that with the globals. And who cares about skill, you ain't going pro anyway so just enjoy the game.

FaceIt isn't as rewarding, there are no win account, no commendations or I'm not aware of, it requires a client. I don't need this headache, MM is almost the same and always at hand.
2019-08-10 05:26
it doesn't require a client only anti cheat but u don't meet cheaters cuz it.But it shows ur winrate,k/d ratio, adr last 20 matches and a lot of stats that mm doesn't show.

Intelligence isnt on his side? If you can beat opponents with 2k+ hours with 500 hours, then it obviously is on your side. You are able to read your opponent and think outside the box to come up clutch time and time again vs people who should have far more experience than you.

To be honest i'm a perfectionist and completionist when it comes to most things, it makes me enjoy things in life a lot less than i should but i love that part of me. I've finished The Witcher 2 3 times for example, 2 to get all achievements and 1 to make a perfect playthrough (in my opinion, of course) that i will carry over to Witcher 3 so in CS:GO i'm grinding but i don't enjoy playing the game as much as i used to.

Implementing wrong values? How come? Society has become something much more than just reproduction and taking care of your own, you have to be smarter and improve yourself regarding knowledge and whatnot. Books, games, music improve your personality and make you a person that's aware of all the aspects of life itself, that's the complete opposite of the thing they're doing according to you. Edit: completely to complete**

I'm afraid some things never change. And these things are: being polite, striving to improve, to know more, being respectful and caring. Having faith in life and many more. While games might teach you a lot, they don't teach you the most important things which you pass by with time.

Games do teach these things that you've listed though? As i've said, you just have to find the right game/song/book/movie or whatever hobby you have to be able to learn something from them in the first place. What are these things that are of utmost importance to you that games don't teach? Edit: Grammar, again.

Those I just listed, games in its vast majority can only teach you how to be rude, careless, cruel, irresponsible and maybe strive to be strong but this is just the pest at best.

Games in its vast majority is what you should've said in the first place, take the Metro books/games for example, they teach you that kindness and forgiveness can be the path to saving humanity in itself. You just have to find the right material or the right door to walk through in order to be able to learn good things from games.

Imagine a young gamer, chances are he gets that Metro game as good as gaming in general. We have to look at the industry, not its rarest gems.

Describe "Rarest gems" GTA V can teach you a lot about life, especially Michael's character and his friendship with Trevor. Civilization/HoI and whatnot can teach you the relationship between countries and the most basic things about managing one. Half-Life's storyline is perfect and will actually take a lot of talking to explain the storyline and how it is executed perfectly. Instead of blaming the industry, blame the people that are IN the industry that fail to put out good content yet still captivate the youngsters like Fortnite, PUBG and so on.

All those you listed, perhaps excluding CIV, have much worse encounters than these few good things. Rarest gems would be a rose in the 20 km square swamp. Just an analogy.

Congratulations. I hit SMFC after about 400 hours or so but I don't really play the game - currently on 650 hours. If I started playing again I would probably be around DMG right now I'd imagine. I just don't find the game fun to play (still enjoy watching, hence why I'm here). It's a strong contrast because with 1.6 I literally couldn't pull myself away from the screen, would regularly have 20h+ marathon sessions while I was at uni. In GO, each match feels like a grind.

It's a nice one to tick off the list. I have been meaning to do it for years but I don't think it'll happen - what's the point of playing a game you don't enjoy? Plenty of great games being released on a regular basis. Last one that really sucked me in was the Resident Evil 2 remake. I loved the original back in the day but the remake is total crack. Probably the only game in the past 10 or so years that I have played to 100% completion.

4500 matches with 4K hours played means you basically saw nothing of cs besides 5v5 ranked matchmaking on valve servers...no dm, no movement practice, kz, no practice sessions, no scrims or 3rd party matchmaking services, no 1v1 or retake servers, just grinding shitty pugs, arguably the worst possible way to spend your time in this game xd

I got Global for the first time in my entire time playing CS, 6 years, around two weeks ago, I lost it, and I got it back again like 3 or 4 days ago. I thought I'd be happy, and I was, but it wasn't anything ecstatic. When I got Supreme I was a lot happier and euphoric, but when I got Global I just felt like saying "cool" and moving on. Same, i started with 200$ laptop with fps dropping to 30-40 in the lowest possible setts, got pc for stable 100 fps in lowest, now im with old pc with little upgrades, nothing special like 144hz or pro mouse etc. If i get 144hz and good pc, keyboard and mouse i can be really good but rn im just decent

Gz brother. I’m about 2k+ hrs and still in DMG-LE. So hard to rank up because people go for frags rather than team play and shit, everyone also barely has any EF/UD at the end of the match. Hella sad lmao

It's alright, just put a little less relevance on it, might save you the nerves and well being. Also putting off pressure can lead to a better performance. Nonetheless, the best of luck to you dear friend, thank you.

Enjoy the game, the more you play the better you become, there's no ceiling really. Unless you want to be a real wild one, you schedule all your free time for the plays, training and learning. But if it's casual, just keep on playing.

Thanks, getting to GE was like a needle in the butt, you can live with that but it's aching if you don't try to remove it. I never cared for ranks but I had to do it for satisfaction and full completion!

My Hours: 1,560 on main, 190 on alt. Year started CSGO: 2013 Highest rank: GE (2015/16) Current: MG2 It used to be based solely on skill and experience (as some stated here). Lower ranks are very much luck now. As a solo-Q player myself, I can truly attest to this. My main is MG2 rn (I only play 4-5 matches a week) and my alt is SEM/GN1 interchangeably. I've played MM since its integration in CSGO and how it was at the start (especially when you still paid for the game) vs how it is now is a polar opposite. The biggest problem with the current situation is that smurfs and hacking is much more rampant than it used to be. Alot of the reasoning behind this is fewer players are taking this game as serious anymore. I can honestly say that 60-70% of the players I run into now could care less about ranking up and utilizing team strategy in MM (NA anyways). Then the guys like me who are trying to work towards the win with strategizing and proper buys, communication in general, etc, end up being tilted by the careless ones who are playing MM when there are 5-6 lesser competitive modes on CSGO such as DM, casual, public servers, mission servers, even Battle royale... I don't understand the casual carelessness in MM. The initial greed factor lies on those players and then they counter it by trying to make it seem like the guy trying to win is being the bad sport. Their collective goal upon entering that game mode, specifically, should be to win. But many times you run into idiots who care little for it. To complicate the aforementioned, most of these guys are queuing together. I can't recall how many solo Q games i played where I get kicked by 3-4 man Qs for tilting over their misplays. It's quite ridiculous. And I've always been a solo Q player. My peak rank was GE in 2015, briefly, near the end. This was prior to the rank shuffling which has never quite been the same since. I played throughout 2016 in high rank MM and almost nothing in 2017 (didn't even get a service medal) and picked it backup in 2018 into 2019 and have had just a pretty brutal experience since. /rant ;)

Can relate to most of that, my very first rank was Silver Master, it was a slow climb since August, 2014. My conditions, like I mentioned many times, are horrible to say the least, it got slightly better but still traumatizing. Don't want to turn you against me, but I don't care about the game much, I play it to get that much needed social injection for myself, ranking up always was a sidekick. Also due to the conditions I played in, had that been different, it would be different too. I fell to LEM again, my most stable rank, 3/4 of the time I have it. If you're not going to quit the race, I wish you the best mates NA has got!
2019-11-08 17:07
i got global after 400 hours and not even 100 wins on main, and after 49 wins on smurf.
