...has won the 6th most amount of prize money in CSGO. The top 5 are all Astralis. esportsearnings.com/players And he's only played since 2014. If the Liquid era continues he could become the most successful CSGO player of all time. He just needs another $500k. Just found that interesting.

Yeah well if he wins the major and the Intel Grand Slam again then he's done it basically.
2019-08-12 15:20
Tbh they can easily win another IGL this year.
2019-08-12 15:22
Exactly
2019-08-12 19:03

if they win major they need 2 more intel wins. EDIT: Sorry masters not major
2019-08-13 09:08
Nah, Intel updated the rules a couple months ago and now you have to either win 3 eligible events AND Esl One Cologne or Katowice to win the grand slam. You can also win it by winning 6 eligible tournaments but I don't think there are that many remaining in 2019.

thats legit what I said, a masters +3, they won chicago, if they win the masters, IE Malmo 2019, and 2 of the other 3 left in 2019 they will get it.
2019-08-14 04:14
I don't think you understand how the new rules work. There are only 3 more Grand Slam events left in 2019. Even if Liquid won all of them they would only have 4 wins when they would need 6 to get the Grand Slam in 2019.
2019-08-14 12:08
Dreamhack Masters Malmö is NOT what they meant as a Masters level tournament in the new grand slam rules. The only "Masters" level tournaments are ESL One Cologne and IEM Katowice, and both of those have already been held. DH Malmö counts as a regular tournament win, making it only possible to win 4/6 events needed to get the Grand Slam in 2019.

If you read the official list of events it lists malmo as a masters level.
2019-08-16 01:40
They're Masters level but not the highest level which is "designated Masters" level. Which means that Team Liquid can't win another Grand Slam in 2019. liquipedia.net/commons/images/b/b8/Intel..

Stewie 1 major win - 100k JW/flusha 3 majors & 1 2nd place - 70k
2019-08-13 01:28
Ok I was talking about xyp9x And Flusha won his majors a long time ago, Astralis more recently, and prize pools have gone up over time, so what you said is irrelevant.
2019-08-13 02:12
yea yea MUH SHEKELS INTERESTING Maybe achievements > prize money
2019-08-12 15:18
Well I am taking success here in terms of prize money

they got 100k for one major win, so not that close as you think, Astralis won all big tournaments, big majors and they are hungry to win again so i think they will try their best to win something again
