Oh, nice meaning in life. This capitalist system that we have created has made us to slaves How can our species be so stupid that we create, among other things, this absurd economic system. One has hardly any life, or at least one non-existent one. Time for a revolution maybe? I do not know what about you but I do not accept this. Sure, there are people who are lucky. Works one week, one week off or other really nice working hours. But to work 07-16 every damn day and come home around half 6 is absolutely fucking insane. There is no time for anything else. No time to live. Just time to be a little slave to some rich guy who sits and owns the company (which you never know who it is) and cashes in billions. Working weekdays and then partying / fucking on weekends, waking up with a hangover on Sundays and then hell starts again. Fuck, it is so tragic! Wake up FFS!

you didnt even need a degree tbh, my brother did accounting fresh outta school and he was on £22k a year, that was without any qualifications at all. he was thinking about continuing with that but then he decided he was actually quite shit at maths and went off to get a law degree. from what i hear, you need to stop partying etc. and try to live a proper decent life. no more debauchery and degeneracy, you need real, life defining happiness that can only be found from things you truly care for, pets or starting a family for example.

In accounting you're severely limited without a degree, and upward movement is limited. If you want to eventually get licensed and move up, you can't without those college credits.

not in the uk, you can get other qualifications instead. i dont know what its like in other countries but in the uk if you become an ACA (associate chartered accountant) you can basically move anywhere in the field.

Luckily not every country has a fucked up system where you need to pay 300k for a degree to be allowed to clean toilets.
2019-08-17 20:27
You're grossly misinformed. I paid no more than $25k for my degree from a top notch public university in NYC. All of which I worked part time to pay off, with money left over. While also making $60k right out of university. Now go clean my toilet.

Idk what all of this would do in helping anyone achieve a better life style. People that are rich or have a good life style still drink, have sex and some of them even do drugs. U clearly don't know what living life is, and if this was all it took for someone to sudenly fall in love with life again everyone would be happy all around the world while in fact most of us are miserable.
2019-08-19 18:17
That's not all it takes, but it is a start. The very fact that so many of you claim to be miserable yet you deny that #17 works, is proof that it does work. People who are actually miserable would be willing to try anything to get better. I never drank alcohol, or did drugs, or had sex, but quitting masturbation improved my life ten fold. Went from miserable to very happy. Now why wouldn't I share this discovery with other people?

Bcuz what works for someone in a determined evyronment won't work for all of us around the world in different countrys or cultures, tahts like me saying to an indian that i'am alot more happy since i stared eating cow, how tf is that supposed to help him? Ur circunstances and the fact that u didn't experience any of the above just prove how flawed ur "happyness plan" is, there will always be succesfull and happy people that drink do drugs or fap every two hours.
2019-08-19 18:27
It works for me, it may or may not work for you. So why wouldn't you try it? You immediately claim it wouldn't work because your brain is addicted to porn/masturbation/sex/drugs/alcohol and your brain doesn't want to lose its favorite things.

Ur are the one that needs to prove ur plan works on ab widder scale, i already know i doesn't work for everyone and thats a fact. Show me 10 more people that went from being miserable to happy just from stopping to masturbate? Would be easy if you said drug use but not having sex or drinking alchool Lmao tahts just ur teen brain afraid to try new things And you don't even know if you can be even happier than what u already are if you tried this things, i mean how can you know wihtout trying as well?
2019-08-19 18:32
I could easily find 10 people who went from miserable to happy by stopping masturbation. But I won't. Just because I'm happy doesn't mean that I have all the time in the world to try to teach miserable people how they can be happy when all they want is to argue about why they are miserable and not take action to solve the problem.

He wants a life were the government pays for everything and he just sits on his ass and plays video games all day. You dont want to work a job for income grow your own food/vegitables. Build your computer parts if you dont want to pay for them, these people didnt spend 1000s of hours making these things just to give them away for nothing in return.

And this is the capitalist system's fault in what way? In communism, you'd just be working the same and getting no money. If you don't want a boring job you should've tried hard at school and gone to university to get good qualifications, studying something you enjoy.
2019-08-17 01:36
"studying something you enjoy." There is like a bunch of ppl that do not know what they want to do for the rest of their lives in the time when they "should" be studying. If It was that easy nobody would complain, It just isn't, It's a fairy tale, you are most likely to do something that you do not want or maybe even despise....

2019-08-17 02:24
Now you're just talking bullshit. You study and gain qualifications to show that you're equipped for a job. A manager at Tesco's won't say to me "ok, go study English Literature so you can read Shakespeare to me" If you're studying something you don't enjoy to do a job you don't enjoy then it's your own fault for choosing that thing to study.

You obviously didn't get what I meant. Not every degree will get you a job. You need to cater to the job market. Alot of people have take jobs that reflect nothing of their degree they have. Maybe it is different in UK but this is how it is here.
2019-08-17 03:20
But these qualifications, even if they don't show you have the experience in a field, show you have the intelligence and ability, even if the two are unrelated. And only if you're studying INCREDIBLY useless will you not get a job from a degree. Employers look for degrees. You'd have to have a degree in Art applying for NASA or something to not get a job. I get what you meant and it's still bullshit.

Lmao I'm in school and I don't know what I'm going to do. But I've roughly narrowed it down to something computing based, because I enjoy video games, building PCs etc, so I chose appropriate A levels (Maths, Physics etc). Computing is still a huge field, so I'm nowhere near an actual career choice, but I can still lay foundations. You're acting like people at school have no free time to find out what they enjoy. Most people have hobbies, or even favourite subjects. So you choose something off of that. If you have no idea, you're a lazy and unimaginative. And I AM lazy and unimaginative, so I know.

It's safe, it's an audio sharing/hosting site. The clip is JP reading this from his book [18+]: “I dreamed I saw my maternal grandmother sitting by the bank of a swimming pool, that was also a river. In real life, she had been a victim of Alzheimer’s disease, and had regressed, before her death, to a semi-conscious state. In the dream, as well, she had lost her capacity for self-control. Her genital region was exposed, dimly; it had the appearance of a thick mat of hair. She was stroking herself, absent-mindedly. She walked over to me, with a handful of pubic hair, compacted into something resembling a large artist’s paint-brush. She pushed this at my face. I raised my arm, several times, to deflect her hand; finally, unwilling to hurt her, or interfere with her any farther, I let her have her way. She stroked my face with the brush, gently, and said, like a child, “isn’t it soft?” I looked at her ruined face and said, “yes, Grandma, it’s soft.”
2019-08-17 03:34
What does that even mean? Anyway JP is one of those "self-help & self-improvement" scammers who are also "motivational speakers". Fuck him and people like him!

Typical 20 year old would rather cry about the system than use their energy/brain to make better life choices. The people who learn to accept the way things are and use it to work for them will do much better in life. Complaining gets you nowhere.
2019-08-17 03:54
If someone accepts the way society is and works alot I dont think they will 100% have more life satisfaction then someone who doesn't. However I would say thats the case more often than not. It is probably hard to find meaning in your life if you're going to say 'fuck the system' how will this person spend all of his free time?

Well, lets say you have a girlfriend or even a wife, now what about kids, maybe you have a hobby or two or even more hobbies, the amount of time you "waste" by working is insane then you come to home at evening spend 2 hours or 3 with your loved ones wash your dick and go to bed again to wake up working another day and another and another, i mean there are weekends but still... most of your free time is missed+atleast in czech often times you are "forced" to do overtime shifts up to 16hours so the only thing you do when you get home is go to bed, absolutely zero fucking time for anything else than living for work EDIT: Also know one woman for example(and there are a lot of such people) who worked for like 20days out of a month every day 16hour shifts in a factory, she lives to surviveinstead of live to live, no time for anything at home

Just start your own company, i dropped out of school the year i turned 17... worked hard for 5 year with something i didn't find that great, was not that bad either cause it was easy(building computers/storage/support), used spare time to build my company. Now everything runs smooth, not got to do that much anymore, got people working for me. If you went to school, many think this make you very smart, then you should have not problem doing this. ;P (Ofc you need work hard as F at start, but pays it self out if you ask me.)

After I get home from work I go to the gym to work out and get home at 10pm. I don't have time for anything else in this life and it makes me very angry. How can so many people accept this? We live in a system where most of our lives are in building dreams of others. Sometimes I want to drop everything and be free, but how can I do it without starving? Without becoming a beggar? I don't know who is gonna change current system, I don't know when this will happens, i just said "I guess a day humans will not work and robot will do all the work with AI" based in fact that Technology is evolving, and we are even creating Artificial Intelligence. In the epoch of slavery, perhaps someone said, "I think one day they will no longer need slaves," and another said, "This is impossible." He had no way of knowing how a world without slaves would work, but it was a possibility. Likewise, I have no way of predicting how it will happen, but it is a possibility, it may or may not happen. What matters is that based on the fracts I said, there is a good chance that it will happen.
2019-08-18 19:45
You're right, my point is that you can use any technology for "good" or for "bad" and in current system it's surely not gonna be for "good".

Actually without capitalism, you likely wouldn't have a phone or a computer for write in this forum, talk, fun and say opinions, and companies are creating so many thing for medicine, Elon Musk and neuralink for example, if that guy can do a good advance in rockets, I believe that he and your equip will do a lot of advances in medicine. Capitalism is so trash, but until now, nothing is better than capitalism
2019-08-18 20:12
Of course I would have a phone or a computer even without capitalism, but what we probably wouldn't have is overconsumption. Modern medicine doesn't heal, it only eliminate (hide) symptoms and drain money from people while keeping them half-alive and drug-addicted. Elon Musk is a swindler who serves elites' interests. Neuralink is a perfect example of what I was talking about in #283, it's not gonna be used "for good" right now, they make it to gain more control on people. It seems you're either not aware about situation in the world right now or just prefer to wear rose-tinted glasses.

"Of course I would have a phone or a computer even without capitalism" lol, everyone only make good products for make money, nobody would make a good product without money, WE ARE HUMANS, not a perfect specie that make the things willingly, and of course the medicine was very better before capitalism hahaha, we are evolving, don't you think that medicine would heal everything? takes time, you are like that guys that say the companies don't wanna show the cure for cancer, but forgetting there is cure for cancer, for example the former president of my country (Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva), he was with cancer, e did the treatment and was healed, what more do you think? the Earth is flat? vaccines are bad? haha. Today you can live to 70 easily, if we didn't have capitalism today, I doubt we would live at least 50

its just fascinating how people from rich countries giving advices like "just study what you like" or "find a better job" without realising there is like milions people in the world who must do this what op write and dont have possibility to experiment with their solutions

You are responsible for your life the system is for everyone the same (at least in the country he lives) you can do whatever you want BTW there is no meaning in life

oh yeah I am pretty sure the system is the same for everyone, a rich dude won't have better opportunities, an easier life and everything else because he got the lucky of being born in a rich family. I am pretty sure you can do whatever you want, thats why there are people who works collecting trash on the street, attending people at Tesco, constructing houses by carring bricks in their backs: because they want.

Glad that someone agrees with me

The thread or the site? Some people realize that their work isn't something they want to do most of the time in their life. And some people don't want to do anything at all, they only want some ez money to live in good conditions, play CS:GO or other game(s) all the day, eat "delicious" (unhealthy) food, watch porn, and so on.

Maybe you should've learnt more or chosen a different career. But I suggest spending your weekends in a smarter way. Of course you're exhausted if you're drunk/hangover the whole weekend

Quality of life is astronomically hugher than it was under any other economic system.

What'st he alternative? I get the sentiment, but even without faceless billion dollar companies profiting off our work, we'd be lucky to shave off maybe an hour off a work day. The ecosystem we work in has allowed us to live in a world where Diabetics don't die 18 months after diagnosis. Where we can fly from one side of the world to another. Jobs like nursing, that would create far more errors and chances of death by having the shifts change over every 4 hours instead of 8, thus wasting more time handing over paper work, filling in the new person of changes to health, new care plans etc etc. Or flight attendants who would be stuck on 9 hour flights, or detectives logging 4 hours a day to solve a case instead of 8. We aren't stuck in a system like a slave, but sacrifice our time so we can live a life far more comfortable than any other generation ever has.

Is it worth though ? Do we really have to choose between torture our bodies or our "souls" ? I suspect there is many other ways axaxaxa btw, its not because you sacrifice your time you're getting more comfortable life

Is it worth it though? We're talking on a highly advanced piece of of technology, interacting with each other over a digital creation that holds the collective information of our entire race, while sitting in a house with lighting, water and heat, with food ready to be eaten in machines that preserve far longer than our ancestors could keep it. Yes, it's worth it.
2019-08-18 19:27
I couldn't agree more on that. We're becoming slaves more and more. $ has divided us.

First of all, "Just time to be a little slave to some rich guy who sits and owns the company" That guy could be you, with all the freedom to do whatever you would want as long as you work hard and make the right decisions :) Secondly, You are not forced to work, nobody asked you to look for a job, but if you want a functioning society and civilization that is ever-expanding, you need people to work... and if you are not willing to do it, I am sure there are thousands of others who are more than happy enough to jump straight into your position, just to feed their family. Life isn't what life used to be. The Alternative to a functioning society is.. well.. a dysfunctional society and neither of us would want that. You can't go have a "life" if you constantly have duties like hunting for food, chopping trees to build your home, taking care of children doubles to triples that task and you might be on a starvation period if you can't provide food to your family.. would be fun to have a dead child, just because you didn't want to work for 8 SIMPLE hours a day, eh?

this is the truth mans i worked full time job for like 3 months total before.. it is no way to live. pure misery. no energy to do anything on weekdays. weekends i just want to sit inside and spend some time doing nothing/being by myself. absolute miserable way to live. my only hope is i find someone i love a lot and start a family with that makes all this shit worth it. otherwise i'll probably kms at like 30 or so
2019-08-19 06:49
I make a basement dweller and I earn 12$ an hour, not the best paid job but it's doable, I work 13 hours in front of my pc though.

try to live with a cheaper lifestyle and you will have to work less and enjoy more. Maybe by that time, youll have a different job with less hours thats enough for your lifestyle and will also give you enough time to enjoy life. Life is short, next thing you know, youre old without a lot of experience in life other than work all day and saving money, your tomorrow is not even guaranteed. Try to balance your life with today and for the future. Do what you want without worrying what the society or your friends and family will say, its your life, your choice. Good luck mate.

+1 i know happy people that only have a roof over their heads and i know happy people living in the streets. Having money never meant being happy, so if money is not a problem and happyness is, just stop working and start living life
2019-08-19 18:44
Work 1 year, save half of the money, rest 1 year spending your savings. Most of the people can't live with the half of their earnings tho.
2019-08-19 15:51

2019-08-19 16:03
Dude thinks that it is possible to live and enjoy it. 200 years ago one thing avg human could ve afforded is a god damn hay stack and some shitty food. Capitalism is the system that has allowed to avoid the malthusian trap. Year by year poor become less poor

Maybe 200y ago it was like this "not sure where u go this info from" but my parents 30y ago at around my age already had money to buy a property and afford to have kids, nowadays u can't do that unless you recieve way way way above average or are already born rich. So it says smt about capitalism, there are also more poor people and whats been increasing is the gap between the poor (wich become even more poor) and the rich wich become way more rich
2019-08-19 18:28
Cmn bruh, capitalism is the best system that was created, it not ideal but we can work with it. Can you name alternative?

Not really but being the best alternative doesn't make it a great one or an ideal one. Plenty can go wrong with capitalism and plenty has gone bad already. People before could earn less but the money wwas worth more, thats all i'm saying. We need to beware of the dangers of capitalism or we will be fucked in teh ass over and over

I hate work. I never deeply into bitcoin mining but the method is very interesting. It's not like car and computer. Mining is self-work by machine. All we need to do is just give electricity and pay bills so machine can work for you. (Don't mine. Because you won't make it at all.) But this method is very interesting. I hope to see future AI can work for us.
