PC Build

Okay so I made a pc build and need a really nerdy expert to check it because mobos are too confusing for me. uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/T87JFt I'm also adding a gtx 960 card until I have enough money for an RTX one. I built this pc for upgradability. I plan to add a RTX graphics card when I get more money and to add 16gb of more ram and sad. Are there any problems with this build? Did I spend more money than I needed to on any of the parts? Thanks nerds

I'm not gonna buy it. I'm using it as a placeholder as a gift from one of my friends until I get more money.

So why do you want us to look at it?

Xddd sure Seasonic focus gold is a good psu. This is just a shitty rebranded eurocase. He wants to run a better gpu, this weak shit is gonna exlode. Also non modular in 2019 omegalul.

2019-08-18 22:49
minus POWER SUPPLY (buy any SEASONIC power supply) minus PC CASE (buy any cheap PC CASE) minus motherboard (buy any cheap motherboard) minus 1x8gb RAM (buy 2x4 or 2x8 3200 (cl 16) for saved money buy (2x4 ot 2x8 ram(3200/CL16) and ryzen 3600)

Is getting a 3600 and a cooler worth the extra £100? I didn't get the bad value stuff.
2019-08-18 22:15
I would say yes. 3600 is about as fast as the first gen ryzen 8-cores. And a lot better in games.

Even if you plan to upgrade to 16gb in the future, I would still get a dual kit and sell the 8 gb kit when upgrading. I don't have personal experience with ryzen, but generally it's recommended to use kitted ram and not mix and match for better stability with overclocking/xmp profiles. Mentioned that because how 1st gen ryzen couldn't run ram at advertised speed unless it was samsung b-die, don't know how it is now. Mobo is fine: i.redd.it/7n48gewun0p21.png I would get a better psu, you can keep a top quality psu for up to 20 years so it may even pay itself back during it's life due to better efficiency.

Corsair RMx or Seasonic Focus+ gold. RMx is quieter I heard.

I like how the case is the 3rd most expensive component of this absolute beast of a PC.

That rig will do just fine with csgo, but if thats the rig you want theres no reason to go rtx.
2019-08-21 22:26
If you can get by with less storage, then leave the 1 TB disk out and instead get a bigger SSD. The 240 GB one can get cramped really quickly and a 500 GB is much better. Also since you want this build to last a while look into finding a X570 motherboard instead, it will give more options for CPU upgrade in the future and really fast M2 SSD is coming.
