this forest is the main thing that is regulating the climate on this planet, if half of it is burned away, we're gonna end up in hell next summer :D <3

blaming a natural fire that happens every year on the president you guys never even heard about rainforest fires before but the media is making up your mind to think that it's BOLSONARO's fault kkkkkkkkkkk you guys are crazy af
2019-08-21 17:48
He is telling people to start fires and clear forest for fields. Well dont matter, well just slap a 50% tax on Brazilian products and you can have a fun time selling your products for someone wholl pay way less for them.

If it's confirmed that it's a criminal fire, it was probably the Organizations that worked on the amazon. They recieved 40% of all that money that Germany and Norway were giving us, so they're probably trying to 'kill' bolsonaro's govnerment by doing this stuff.

Nah oceans generates the most oxygen, algues also do consume a lot of CO2. Forest are second tpo the ocean in terms of total air filtering. Also climate is missused, global warming or global change is more appropriate, forest burning will not make you next summer horrible it will be tens of hundreds of thing combined that will make it hot. nibba im not lying to waist you time so don't insult me, a good reasearch will offers you every info you need if you don't think im right.

The world needs more food, but don't want a forest to get chopped down, even though Brazil have one of the most restrict rules to deforestation.
2019-08-21 16:58
mate we already have enough food to feed like 10 billion people, we really don't need to chop down the rainforest to feed the world
2019-08-21 17:12
this happens every year(thats what some people told me), people are making this even bigger to blame Bolsonaro
2019-08-21 17:14
Yes, fires happen every year. But this one has been going on for 16 days already, it's not your every day fire. And the president seems to not give a fvck, he's even blaming NGO's for the fire.

You're probably going to be called "communist" here for saying such thing, great part of the population is brain-washed by a non-existing communist threat promoted by the president and ministers. My eyes bleed every day because people actually believe these shit

You're talking a lot of shit, of course no one wants to chopp all Amazonia down. But the deforestation it's not going faster with Bolsonaro, he was a cucker to end INPE, but don't let you political opinion inflamate your speech.
2019-08-21 17:32
Actually, it's going faster, an increase of 67,2% in comparasion to last year. noticias.uol.com.br/confere/ultimas-noti..
2019-08-21 18:16
90% of destruction due to A) needing more space for cattle B) growing food for cattle go figure
2019-08-21 17:31
cattle is so destructive to the environment. Im not advocating vegetarianism/veganism because im not that but if humanity eliminated cattle consumption environmental destruction would vastly slow down
2019-08-21 17:41
no one needs to be vegan/vegetarian, just reducing consumption by 70-80% is enough, basically going back in time when your parents/grand parents were young and they had meat/fish once a week like on a sunday or something
2019-08-21 18:05
+1 some meats are more damaging than others. Chicken and Aquaculturally grown fish are sustainable while Cattle and pork are not
2019-08-21 21:24

The U.S. can plant lots of trees, which will help a lot versus carbon in our atmosphere.
2019-08-21 20:01
Not true the vast majority of CO2 consumption is done by algae in the oceans, in fact, there are more trees on earth now than there ever have been and as long as people don't build on top of the amazon it will grow quicker than we would cut it down (at our current requirements). As far as the environment goes we should be trying to influence India and China to cut down their CO2 production and really try and get a grip on how much we pollute the ocean because the rest is either really insubstantial or just straight-up lies, also we should try and come away from using fossil fuels because it gives way too much power to the Saudi's and Qatari's
2019-08-21 21:30
it just baffles me that bolsominions still close their eyes to the dumbshit crapbag is doing, but here are some facts: - in march crapbag cut 50% of PrevFogo budget (IBAMA [Brazilian environmental and resourses institute] org that prevents wild fire). - 5,4mi cutted from ICMbio (Chico Mendes institute of conservation and biodiversity) that oversees and prevents fires. no opinion, facts.
