are you talking about the league or the country?
2019-08-21 21:57
country, league has to be decent if pes licensed it specifically to there game, then again idk what kinda rigging they have there
2019-08-21 21:58
Country - I could copy/paste what 1000s of tourists/visitors have said but a few reddit thread searches should give you a good idea. It doesn't have the constant luxuries like we'd have in the US but it's nowhere near 3rd world like people online make it out to be. League - Zenit is a top 20 European club but always seem to fall short in the CL. Moscow clubs are better suited for EL because they lack depth to play a full league plus domestic cup and European tournaments. National team goes through wild periods of good & bad but currently it has one of the most promising teams in a while. There's definitely bribery but all of the recent cases have involved the lower leagues (tier 3 or 4) so it doesn't really have any impact outside of the two clubs involved.
2019-08-21 22:17
people who live there think it is 3rd world, some russians have even told me that i'm lucky to live in lithuania

6th highest by UEFA coefficient? Top 15 in terms of prestige and revenue in the world. One or two clubs always make QF of Europa and Zenit can compete with most clubs on a good day. National team made Euro '08 SF and '18 World Cup QF. GTFO and educate yourself before you trash your country.

I lived 18 years in an extremely small city with 8 000 citizens. Id say its pretty good for a couple of reasons - pretty chill, everyone is sort of "friends" with each other, like we all know each other, no traffic and shit. Cons are that its rly boring for younger people and its hard to find a somewhat good job with nice salary (flag checksout)
2019-08-21 21:11
frr, arlesheim had like 10k people, it was fun cause you'd see your friend going to the shopping center or something, but other than do stuff with them it got a bit boring, especially since most the boys played football and the girls did other stuff, only time id speak to them was at school or on my way to somewhere that being said i love it so much more than living in a big city
2019-08-21 21:15
Yeah in Bulgaria we dont have that much big cities except Sofia, the capital city. I have friends that need 2 hrs drive with CAR to get to their work - wtf is this shit? I lived 1 min away from the school in my hometown lmao.. Everyone thats lived in a small town knows that small cities are better. Im curious, what was the life in arlesheim? It probably has to do with Bulgaria being extremely under developed but the only "cool" things we got here were a stadium, 3 parks to hang around, a couple of sport playgrounds,a swimming pool and 2 clubs lol.
2019-08-21 21:32
idk, it was fairly similar, it was hard to buy stuff since my parents are american and were used to paying like 1$ for a snicker so when i asked for 5$ for candy they would be like wtf, everything is rly expensive, but other than that it was decent, we had a small downtown where you could get pretty much most basic things, but id have to like 30 mins to go to a black barbershop since most barbers worked with white people which was a bit annoying. We played football at the pool, and there was a concrete cage where you could play a fusbal style football, but most just played by the pool on the grass. There was no black people or americans so i was kinda different, but most people didnt care since i knew them all my life, probably wasnt to different to your life tbh, just more pricy.

First decade in the countryside, then 8 years in small town and then moved from home to Copenhagen (big city, but not huge and very easy feel at home in). I'd say there is both good and bad, but I do think growing up with nature just outside was a good thing. As an adult one can easily get around so a place with more things going on is great, also being near an airport is nice as traveling is easier.

True, growing up in a smaller town as kid was really great. Building huts in the forest for example
2019-08-21 21:31
So much freedom in the country side. Everyone friendly, like wave to a farmer going by in some big machine and you'd get a ride.
2019-08-21 21:39
frfr, i didnt live in the countryside, but everyone knew you, it was safe to ride bikes on streets etc, here (since i cant drive yet) to get places i have to use sidewalks which have people on it often and it can get risky
2019-08-21 21:53
So different here with the bike thing. Anything bigger than a residential street mostly have bike lanes except if out in the country where there is little traffic, so in general it is safe to bike and because so many does it and that it is people of all ages the drivers are used to looking out for bikers as well. Whatever you do stay safe, but also do not stop to bike once you can drive - it is good exercise and can be a great sport also.

I'm living in a small town near Halle (like 10k to 15k habitants) and i enjoyed my childhood. For sure it can be boring sometimes especially when you have no car etc. yet but it was still a really good time. We used to play a lot in the nature like building huts and stuff. And you got not much stress in terms of too many people and noises. I prefer it to live in a smaller town in a house near a larger city atleast if you're mobile. So you kinda got the positive things of both
2019-08-21 21:30
yeah, most people who couldn't drive would bike so you were semi-mobile, you could get friends etc

I am inclined to answer Ronaldo as he played on my team (corinthians). But Pelé is the best in history.

I was living in a little town, was studying And when I finally broke away from school and became a musician I thought "well, now I may have a little bit of a chance" Because all I really wanted to do is music And not only play music, but compose music At that time, in Germany, in '69, '70, they already had discotheques So I would take my car, would go to a discotheque Sing maybe thirty minutes I think I had about seven, eight songs I would partially sleep in the car Because I didn't want to drive home.

meeeh, kinda. I lived in a more civilised and secular district(Kadıköy) for 14 years but now I live in a lower tier neighbourhood(Uskudar) because it was closer to my high school and closer to my university compared to Kadıköy

nice, what position do play? I play centerback for nc fusion, notable player from there is Gianluca busio, that's it...

Played right wing/attacking midfielder but I was quite a lazy player because I never tracked back. Most goals came from free kicks and I quit playing football completely in the last year I was at CP because of injury issues. Scariest point in my life because I didn't know if I was actually ever going to be fully fit again after tearing my right quad and the my ACL during recovery and then tore my hamstring with a month to go in that recovery period 12 years ago.

I grew up in a town of 2000. There was no official team, but there was one pro footballer who later had to retire because he broke his knee.
