Fair point, but i would say that if you really want valve to step the fuck up, it would need to "kill" csgo at some extent, if coexisting would be possible, valve would still keep doing what they are now as the game is still very popular.
Is kind of the problem with r6, it coexists, and that is a problem for that game popularity wise, and for csgo as a competitor.
r6 is "too easy" for some cs players, while overwatch is a complete different game with different feel. and being too hard cuts down on the casual player base. Cs has a LOT of legacy players that just play it because the used to play 1.6, even though they suck at it.
