i know the orthodox classical liberal argument... i just think from my heart that priorities are important, i don't know how a human being can see people buying ferraris while others die from starvation and think its perfectly normal and part of the system and the best possible system we can get.
Poor countries usually lack natural resources, technological development, and legal, physical and financial infrastructure. I don't see how communism would make anything better. Foreign aid or some form of opportunistic altruism like the marshall plan could kickstart development in some cases.
humans don't need much. 3 meals a day, decent healthy care, good sanitary conditions and freedom are enough, all rest is smoke. If you can make a society where every individual has those things, it's better than any system we ever created.
Terrible idea. Socialism maybe not as bad, and leftist capitalism can work. But communism is a way for people to take power and control every aspect of people's lives. Complete authoritarian control. At first they want to do good, but then they become the very thing they swore to destroy (reference). Cuba is very good example of this. Or even my home country. Or China. Or Russia. Hell, almost every communist nation goes through the same stages. And I feel bad for the people that had to experience that.
Because there is no oppression in real communism
In other hand, capitalism makes things worse. The poor are getting poorer, disease is spreading and the arms race continues. Capitalism = ideology of hate and racism.
capitalism is really bad, thats why it had to build a wall to keep people in, Communism on the other hand is really good, so much so that it had to build a wall to keep people out. Wait I think I got that mixed up.
what a cliche machine.... think deeper... i dont see people trying to go to Africa, Latin America or great part of Asia where everything you have in your house was made at... The first world is great, but there is a lot of dark ugly things behinde all this succesful...
The problem of a communist welfare is that everybody is seen as equal while in the real world there are more and less talented ppl.
By putting everyone on same level, you basicaly restrict their possibilities.
Theoretically it's good for SIMPLE PEOPLE, like for middle-working-class, but in fact HUMAN FACTOR made it complete shit in reality... And for sure, for ambitious people Capitalism is much better. Capitalism: "you have as many as you work, especially work with your brain".
