its a shitty mic, and cheap as hell something like $50. I had one like 3 years ago, it was definetely one of the most comftorable headsets, but it wasnt a good mic. "iTs ThE bEsT bAnG foR yOur bUcK"

Sound in csgo isn't voodoo magic. Any random pair of stereo earphones will give you roughly the same sense of direction and distance. The audio tracks for sound cues like steps and grenade pins are very clear and acute, so sound quality doesn't really matter either. If your room has a lot of background noise, then earbuds + headphones with active noise cancelling will help. If that's not the problem, then try turning up the volume and paying more attention, because getting another headset won't make a difference.

You can try disabling/enabling enchancments in playback device settings in windows, they do weird shit sometimes. Updating realtek drivers might help (probably not tho). Have you tried using the headset on a different pc?

Headsets are personal preference, I have BeyerDynamic DT 990 Pros right now, used to use a pair of Audio Technica ATH-20X's. I'd look around on different channels and see what they use and reccomend Mics are pretty variable, the Blue Snowball is decent and is what I use, Samsung Go's have held up for decades, one of those ones that you can stick to headsets are alright, but most seperate mics are better than headset ones.
2019-09-04 20:59
Yeah, I got a samson go like 8 or 9 years ago and it still sounds better than any gaming headset mic I ever heard.

I have audio technica ath-m50x studio headphones that are today around 150$ I think. I also have cheapish 50$ table studio microphone. For 200$ you get pretty fking neat setup compared to gaming headsets. Good studio headphones have much better sound than gaming headsets.. but if you dont have enough money for expensive shit, I guess cloud 2 or logitech g pro x headsets are nice.

Cloud 2 is good if your budget isn't high. I have a sennheiser game one myself and i have had this for 3 years. It's been through a lot of throwing and smashing etc and still works great so i would definitely recommend it if you have the money since it's a little on the expensive side. The mic is also great on it.

everyone here just type his owns headsets. the question is : which one is the best I have a Steelseries Arctis 5 Pro but in my opinion the Sennheiser's stills the bests since a long time. Go ahead with PC350 or Game zero Forget about HyperX, Razer and other stuffs like that because they have the same "engine" and are full marketing stuff. There's no doubt. Sound = Sennheiser Thx

+1 Sennheiser is an actual headphone manufacturer so they know their shit. I just ditched my Cloud II for Corsair VOID, not a great sound in them either but at least they bothered to include mic mute and volume controls into the headset and they're comfortable af. Would've gone for Sennheiser Game Zero but couldn't really afford them right now.

Owned krakens, HD 598SE, currently game ones I would never go back to gaming headsets, they are uncomfortable, mics are mostly shit and the sound outside of the game is meh Get game ones if u live in quiet environment, zero if loud. They sound great for music as well, mic is actually decent and are comfy af. In case u buy game zero, opt for 50ohm version, as 250ohm will not run good unless u have a better sound card

No the se version is just the black version of the original ones, although it could be 50ohm im not sure The 50ohm version looks exactly the same as any other game zeros the only difference is the impendance Thing is game zeros used to be 250 for a few years and then they switched to 50, so just look up the specs when buying the particular pair
