I respect your opinion

Even though personally I don't agree with this, I will still +1 this, because people should stop viewing themselves as being superior just because of their opinions +1

and yet 99% of wealth is owned by 1% and we cant get water to Africa

That even if this is true and even if we had space travel us plebs wouldn't get to see it or even drink it
2019-09-11 22:16
Maybe not, but discoveries like this bring us a step closer to finding the answer to the question "Are we alone?"

Its almost impossible to be alone. Even if the chance of developing life like us would be 0,00001% it is still a lot
2019-09-12 01:34
you look for some extraordinary remote possibility for life, yet care nothing about the life that is already here. and I dont like that so I pointed it out. water in some remote galaxy ffs, get a grip
2019-09-11 22:19
Its the same galaxy my friend
2019-09-11 22:20
could be a parallel reality , cause you'll never get there anyway
2019-09-11 22:24
No one cares about Africa, the population boom coming from that shithole will ruin the earth.

oooh. nice attitude . I dont personally or emotionally care about it, but as a human species and the leading edge on this solar system, we are fucking useless if we cant even resolve the most basic of problems, without hate, violence or elimination.
2019-09-11 22:25
We shouldn’t help those who can’t help themselves. You do know the average IQ of Africa is around 70-80, leaning towards 70, right? Why would you care about the continuation of a group of people who are literally a hinderance on white Europeans?
2019-09-11 22:28
that's a primitive way of thinking you know , for the past 50 years the food supply is constantly exceeding the population demand for food yet 20 million people die each year from malnutrition or not having access to clean water .It is a fucking disgrace to the human race mister Philosopher my ass

"Humans would not fare well on the planet. If it has a hard surface, it would be impossible to stand. With gravity eight times stronger than on Earth" Damn, we will still have to keep looking for something similar to Earths size. Even then we would need a vessel that could travel close to the speed of light to reach such planets
2019-09-11 22:17
Bro we'll just use this planet for training like Goku did
2019-09-11 22:20
King kais planet was 10x 8x is too weak for my superior muscles
2019-09-12 00:52
But for us mere mortal plebs 8x is more than enough
2019-09-12 01:29
actually 8x gravity of earth we can fucking die. well not literally but we would suffer lying in the ground.
2019-09-12 01:32
It was a fucking joke stop being so literal
2019-09-12 01:38
ik but im just saying true shit ok
2019-09-12 01:38
Lmao chill you two
2019-09-12 02:18
Completely irrelevant. It's a nice discovery, but not useful for humanity whatsoever
2019-09-11 22:19
Stop stating opinions as facts, this is so cringy
2019-09-11 22:19
Where did I do that?
2019-09-11 22:22
china is going to exttract this en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helium-3 from lunars surface. They gonna be a real power.
2019-09-11 22:30
yeah lemme just w8 anotha 200 years
2019-09-11 22:32
Im not talking about us going there. Besides, we dont know how much technology will advance in lets say 50 years. Maybe we will experience interplanetary or even interstellar traven in our lifetimes
2019-09-11 22:36
soooo exciting, im pretty sure lots of ppl care about shiet like this
2019-09-11 22:43
If you dont care, why did you open this thread?
2019-09-11 22:45
if u care, why dont u make threads about all the planets that are getting discovered daily?
2019-09-11 22:46
Because not every planet has optimal temperature for life and water

dont listen to the majority on here mate... it is interesting and does get us closer to are we alone? ofcource we are not alone... there are more planets out their than there is grain of sands on our planet earth.. endless of endless of space and might even bee infinity.. for us to say we are the only ones would be very delusional.. and as for scientists them selfs... they are only looking for on what we know.. on how we live and how we function and operate.. whos to say other living things even need water? sun? plants to surive? we are only looking for what we know and how we live... its interesting and we are not alone.

Atmosphere found? Arable land found? Habitable terrain found? Livestock or plants found? Adequate temperature and climate found? Star that emits light found? Garbage news media found? Yes
2019-09-11 23:22

It is funny that with all the studies hrs and money put into looking for a new ''earth'' we could actually save our own world

Why are these good news?

I just wanna know if that planet has any inteligent species like humans if yes how advanced they are, and if they have animals and see how all of them look. I will die by the time they will travel there.

Dumb children on this website don't know that this is probably the most interesting news in a while. They can't understand that we will have to leave this planet 100 years if we want the human race to prevail, and this could be an opportunity.
2019-09-12 00:13
Earth better
2019-09-12 00:16
Doesnt matter humans will be extinct in 18 months due to global "warming" xddd
2019-09-12 00:19
Not entirely true though.. What is true is. many years ago this planet was discovered when a massive search for planets in the considered zone around different stars where water is believed to in a form where life might be possible. The planet was found a long time ago. they just found out it contain water. most likely many of the found planets do. and many unfound.. But to say its most likely to be habitable is not true.. only thing is water, in this zone. however water can also be in form that can form life outside the zone. inface it most likely even are in our own solar system.. its a very interest planet however.. that is true.. And well with math. its as good as impossible that there isnt life elsewhere in the universe. as said we have well a certain number of places in our own solar system that bassicly could carry life of some form. other than earth. then there is mars that show signs of might having at one point. in our galaxy that is a small one there is billions of planets. stars and so on. and to that there are many other galaxies that is much larger with even more stars and planets. so its like 99.9% sure there would be life somewhere else. and if there is not its only because life is a complete fluke. but nothing we know support that, in fact life seem very planned and organiced following the system and forms of the entire universe. the same math.. And life comes in many forms. and can be many places, also outside this zone. and water do not mean life. if it did our solar system would be filled with life.. However. its an important found as many others. but from what we know now, its not something to be more excited over than so many other places.. its one of many places that can prove to be something more. or have the math to become more.
2019-09-12 00:26
Some new planet is discovered and they say something like this every few months, whatever.
