and yet 99% of wealth is owned by 1% and we cant get water to Africa
I wouldn't expect pre-teen hltv kids to give 2 shits about this :-D
"Humans would not fare well on the planet. If it has a hard surface, it would be impossible to stand. With gravity eight times stronger than on Earth"
Damn, we will still have to keep looking for something similar to Earths size. Even then we would need a vessel that could travel close to the speed of light to reach such planets
Completely irrelevant. It's a nice discovery, but not useful for humanity whatsoever
Stop stating opinions as facts, this is so cringy
yeah lemme just w8 anotha 200 years
dont listen to the majority on here mate... it is interesting and does get us closer to are we alone? ofcource we are not alone... there are more planets out their than there is grain of sands on our planet earth.. endless of endless of space and might even bee infinity.. for us to say we are the only ones would be very delusional.. and as for scientists them selfs... they are only looking for on what we know.. on how we live and how we function and operate.. whos to say other living things even need water? sun? plants to surive? we are only looking for what we know and how we live... its interesting and we are not alone.
Arable land found?
Habitable terrain found?
Livestock or plants found?
Adequate temperature and climate found?
Star that emits light found?
Garbage news media found? Yes
It is funny that with all the studies hrs and money put into looking for a new ''earth'' we could actually save our own world
I just wanna know if that planet has any inteligent species like humans if yes how advanced they are, and if they have animals and see how all of them look. I will die by the time they will travel there.
Dumb children on this website don't know that this is probably the most interesting news in a while. They can't understand that we will have to leave this planet 100 years if we want the human race to prevail, and this could be an opportunity.
Doesnt matter humans will be extinct in 18 months due to global "warming" xddd
Not entirely true though..
What is true is. many years ago this planet was discovered when a massive search for planets in the considered zone around different stars where water is believed to in a form where life might be possible.
The planet was found a long time ago. they just found out it contain water. most likely many of the found planets do. and many unfound..
But to say its most likely to be habitable is not true.. only thing is water, in this zone. however water can also be in form that can form life outside the zone. inface it most likely even are in our own solar system..
its a very interest planet however.. that is true..
And well with math. its as good as impossible that there isnt life elsewhere in the universe.
as said we have well a certain number of places in our own solar system that bassicly could carry life of some form. other than earth. then there is mars that show signs of might having at one point.
in our galaxy that is a small one there is billions of planets. stars and so on. and to that there are many other galaxies that is much larger with even more stars and planets. so its like 99.9% sure there would be life somewhere else. and if there is not its only because life is a complete fluke. but nothing we know support that, in fact life seem very planned and organiced following the system and forms of the entire universe. the same math..
And life comes in many forms. and can be many places, also outside this zone. and water do not mean life. if it did our solar system would be filled with life..
However. its an important found as many others. but from what we know now, its not something to be more excited over than so many other places.. its one of many places that can prove to be something more. or have the math to become more.
Some new planet is discovered and they say something like this every few months, whatever.
So exciting bro I think I'll drive there for vacation
