I have a different view to the ”nobody talks to each other, boring”
Finns tend to be out of their comfort zone in interviews and such situations where the person talking with them is doing it for the job, not out of their personal interest. It feels fake and dull. The interviewer is going to ask questions from every single team, yours is not special, you’re just sitting there because you’re told to. Talking just for the sake of having to talk is boring. Small talk is boring.
Not opening up to strangers makes you value your inner circle. When you have mutual, genuine will to have a conversation with someone it’s amazing.
The fewer words you say makes you more interesting. Unknown is exciting. If you have too much ice cream, you don’t want any more ice cream. When you figure a person is a loudmouth, you start to take them granted. There’s no interest in asking them questions, they’re going to speak for themselves anyway.
I, not only for my nationality think ENCE is the most interesting team outside of the game. Insight from their Behind the scenes -video series is fucking interesting and setting up these forced interviews won’t give you much to play with.
Aleksib was always the carismatic leader, the social one, the crack into the mystery and I’m very sad he’s gone. Although on the flipside, suNny will fulfill the enigmatic nature of ENCE. The contrast between fan hype and tongue-tied heroes is what makes the memes.
The xseveN vs s1mple 1v1 win in the major playoffs with a straight face while chewing gum will be iconic.
