You are talking like depression is some kind of a ball, you either have it or not while It's not even close to that.
You can't decide how wealth/rich you are going to be when u get born.
You can't change genetics.
You can't change ur family (relatives in general) and surrounding (community).
You can't choose how intelligent you are going to be. (which can change the way you look at all of this stuff a lot).
You can't change to a good degree If most ppl are going to like/accept/love or hate you.
Most likely you won't be in able to change the country you live in either.
Most things in life are realative to a good degree and depression is one of those things as well. Very often you rly don't have a choice betwen bad and good in ur life, in most of the times you either choose from more good or bad choices.
I'll give u a simple example how relative things in this world (and depression) can be.
There is 4 different guys, every single of them killed a person, the first what will come up on ur mind is gonna be something like "Oh, they are all fucking cunts and should burn in hell.".
But let's say that first guy killed the person while he was self defending.
The 2nd killed a person from the revenge (let's say that person killed one of his family members or maybe paralyzed his gf for the rest of her life).
3rd guy is a poor beggar from the street that was half conscious when he killed a person who was acting like a cunt towards him bcz he is poor.
4th guy is a serial killer, he rapped and killed a woman and dropped her into the hole.
Soo are all of these 4 guys the same considering they all did the same thing in the end?
I'll give you one more example. Let's say you played a game in CS GO, you had a trash/garbage player in ur team but you won the game 16-9, you won't care that he did bad, but let's say that you barely won that game (16-14 or won in the overtime), you won't look the same way at that dude anymore, or let's say you maybe didn't win the game but lost it 14-16 bcz he did something unbeliveably stupid in the last round.
He played at the same level all 3 maps, but depending on the score, the moment he played bad, how bad he played when you were looking at him and how good of a temmate he was (and many other things I didn't mention), you'll judge him differently even tho he was a really shitty player in all 3 games.
