Both Languages are to similar, we can can speak in Portuguese and understand spanish, they can do the same, but it's a little hard to spanish speakers understand Portuguese then us.

It’s basically Brazilians speaking Portuguese with some Spanish words and trying to do a spanish accent Spanish speakers speaking spanish slower than usual (which is 100% understandable by a Brazilian)
2019-09-18 02:24
In South America we brazilians play a lot with players from "spanish" language. Both try understand ourselves speaking "portunhol" (português + espanhol). Of course, there's no official "portunhol". =P
2019-09-18 02:19

Portuguese and Spanish are like 70% similar or even more .. example: English: Hello, I am Brazilian Spanish: Hola , yo soy brasileño. Portuguese: Ola, eu sou brasileiro.

Omg they don't speak "portunhol" what the fuck is that, they speak portuguese, is very easy for us learn it. Maybe when they don't know how to speak something they speak portunhol but only while they can't speak fluenty portuguese.
