Avangar matchfixing scandal

Europe SCREAM_TOP_1
After they placed 2nd in major, and won BLAST recently, care to explain these RECENT results?? hltv.org/matches/2336178/avangar-vs-illu.. hltv.org/matches/2335751/avangar-vs-big-.. Valve needs to ban these "professional" players, which ironically enough lack professionalism, prevent these unprofessional acts from participating in majors, just like iBuyPower ban!

as long as avangar didnt recieve any benefits from losing, they can do whatever they want

they can trace skins lol
2019-09-19 03:25

valve cant really "trace" it anymore considering there are no websites that do skin bets like when IBP got caught
2019-09-19 04:53
well Valve can also do what the fuck they want
2019-09-19 03:26
ibp was stupid enough to make it look suspicious AND against all odds possible had evidence against them. see: “I wanted to knife :(“
2019-09-19 04:37
must be bait

yeah im getting pretty tired of these semi-fluke teams that just make big runs and then turn into an ence or gambit - still good but not serious contenders for big tournaments -
2019-09-19 03:30

i can say the same for liquid after losing to sharks.. but it can also be because of the "player break" as well. they do bad online as much as i hate to say it

yeah true - but you shouldnt become that bad that you lose to illusion or some tier 50 team. big>avangar i kinda get tho
2019-09-19 03:37
Ence was a serious contender at most events between Katowice and Berlin

yeah, but renegades and other teams just beat them in playoffs easily

I don't think that means they're a fluke team though... Unless ya mean in a different context... I guess their Berlin run was a fluke but everyone already knew the lineup was broken at that point. Every event leading into Berlin they were an elite top 3 team though.

Go find proof of it and send it to valve. IBP case has been proven with evidence so it was not just random HLTV witch hunt (._.')

They wont be banned if they didnt receive monetary payment If i recall correctly faze in 2017 iem sydney pretty much straight up said in an interview that they threw against astralis in the groupstage

i arent know this details
2019-09-19 03:36
Idk where you want to go with that but what Im saying is that you have no proof that they actually threw for money/skins (which is why IBP got banned). If its lack of professionalism or not is also something you can't prove. Those were online matches and everyone who has been into the pro scene for more than a week knows that even randoms can beat the best teams (._.') about the faze thing, never saw it so I can give an opinion

They said that they threw cobble to bait astralis into picking it during the semis you wont be banned if you didnt recieve skins or money by betting on yourself Innocent until proven guilty

Avangar's case Its just assumptions for now. Again it was online and everything can happen + no proof of money involved on the lost matches = classic HLTV witch hunt that literally happens after every single match. I don't know all the details about faze's case but if they weren't banned nor sactioned in other way then they most likely managed to somehow avoid it. Not all cases are the same I guess. (._.')

I don't remember that Do you have a link? He didn't say anything like that in the interview from karrigan hltv.org/news/20378/karrigan-cobble-gamb..
2019-09-19 04:47
Wtf are you dumb or just baiting? Saying we "threw" is another word for saying we choked, like if faze is up 14-6 then loses 14-16 they say we "threw" that match so hard.

No evidence at all... its online matches anything can happen and they forfeit against big, plus its not like avangar is gonna treat this online match like a major.

The problem was that those idiots on ibp had the great idea to bet on csgolounge with skins LMAO
2019-09-19 04:52
It's just that Avangar is not an invincible team like Liquid, Astralis, NRG, (ence and vitality before the changes). It is still a young team looking for ... Nobody will be shocked not to see them in a month, but many will be disappointed because we like this team despite us.
