3/8 Its kind of true. Many people i know say they go to the gym for a healthier life but they don't realize that pulling up weights all the time is not a healthier life. Running improves your stamina much better than pulling up weights. Eating healthy is also far better.

im not a gymrat xD i go there 3x a week for like 60-90mins and on off days go jogging or swimming. i see your point but you shouldn't mix everyone that visits gym to "gymrats". i read about calisthetics and consider giving it a try aswell

What about doing weights for 20 minutes everyday and doing 40 minutes or jogging/biking/swimming? Thats what I do and I feel much better now doing cardio

Honestly, for many years i am guilty for hating cardio, but running is literally 3x more beneficial that lifting weights, also many trending gym movements and bad forms are bad for your joints and can incure high costs over time.

Flag checks out, only negativity in thread headline, talks about other wasting their time... dictate your beliefs on others, because you think your lifestyle is superior to others. For many this is just a hobby, would you take this people that do boxing or hit the weights hard, take them out in the forest and let them run around with your sissy tight on and you think this is enough for them after they just run around for some time? For the eating better part i'm with you 100% even tho 90% of people talking about stuff like that don't have a clue about what a healthy diet even is, only thing i can say... do you drink the tap water? If answer yes, you prob just as bad when it comes to food as you are with the drinking water part. Maybe try to understand we are different what is fit for you does not fit all people on this planet, try to understand many need much more of a workout to be satisfied, this is nothing to do with the self esteem part, it's for the well being as a human being.
