Just study. If you sit down and study maybe 2 hours per day (outside of classes and homework, also of course depending on what you are studying), you should be good to go.

just learn, but not too much. Make sure to get enough sleep and relaxation. No matter how much you study, you're not going to to good if you're tired and exhausted

Get involved in the school sign up for clubs/sports team etc. that are related to the college, don't be afraid to talk to new people in the beginning cause they are most likely in the same situation as you.

Keeping your sleep schedule and energy in check is a great start. Get enough sleep, wake up early, and have a hearty breakfast. Don't stress yourself, you'll lose hairs Make some goals to finish readings before the class, you don't want to be lost the entire 2-3 hours. It's better having some idea going into the lecture so you have notes to add to, instead of starting a new and missing talking points, not everything is written on slides. Make friends, but don't get swept away in parties. Think about the material, don't brainlessly copy every slide word for word, you prob already know that but holy heck it is a disease here. Go to TA or office hours, you've prob been told that a hundred times but it's really the best thing. Can save you lots of time. Assignments pile up even right before exams, so be mindful of that, It's always the worst when you have assignments for each of your class due the week of your midterms/exams. Your weight is going to stack up and pile as well. Up to you if you want to exercise during the school year but you know what they say, "A healthy body is a healthy mind".

I started uni in another city 2 weeks ago. personally I was worried too but I'm just not giving a fuk and enjoying my time in a new place, exploring, staying away from the stabbers and having fun with new people and going to class. Just look at it as a new opportunity and new environment. I suppose you do understand that you're gonna have to study too, but always look at the bright side
2019-10-11 17:06

1. Get wasted from time to time. Your brain needs a reset to function properly. 2. Also it's not about how many hours you put into studying but how efficient you're at it. So focus. 3. And last protip: Write notes by hand. You actually learn (not just write shit down) by doing it.

1. Have a routine when you are going to study and where are you going to study and for how long every day. 2. Make a comfortable study space and choose the best possible time when nobody is going to disturb you and you can add it up to your studying learning style: Auditory learner, Visual learner, Tactile/kinesthetic learner. It helps a lot. 3. Remember to study daily to gain progress. At least once a week you should go back over the things you've studied in class, so you can make your own study materials if you think something wasn't mentioned in class or you just didn't learn it, or ask for some help or do some own notes, I recommend some quiz as well it's a practical rewind. 4. spaced repetition, it has helped me a lot and I've got decent grades because of that, and it has helped me to stay motivated.
