NiP Pita
World Noldi_alb
I am someone who has a pretty good knowledge of how CS works. Can someone pls tell me what does this guy do for the team? I keep seeing the same mistakes on T side. Getting flanked 24/7 , being so easy to read (enemies always stack the site NiP is going to hit, you dont see this as often with other teams) , overpeeking on postplants and many other small mistakes. On CT some of the worst setups in pro CS. They only look decent setups cause the players are all good aimers. No coordination at all on CT side which is supposed to be easy. Ex: Not closing out an 8-7 t half on inferno. There are many other examples. So if they have these so many repeated flaws that even non profesionals can notice, can someone tell what this guy's job as the coach is?

They really looked amazing under Threat. Every action had logic. He even elevated them to top3 at some point. I always look back at the matches back then cause they were a pleasure to watch. They did get figured out towards the end but had he not been busy with out of the game stuff he would have reinvented them. Such a massive difference compared to nowadays.
2019-10-03 21:36
+1 surprised no team has picked him up he seemed like he worked hard watching demos and doing proper strats
2019-10-05 03:19
He stepped down from NiP, no one has picked him up because he doesn't want to coach..
2019-10-05 03:24
Fair enough one of the few coaches who knew what he was doing and improved the team

im talking about pita
2019-10-03 21:37
Sry, I misunderstood. Yeah, very true. I've listened to his interviews and he always act like he has a tough job but in reality his team has no improvement in 2 years despite having some really good players. IMO with the caliber of players they have, NiP should be around top 8 minimum.
2019-10-03 21:43
nip players are braindead aimers. a coach cant fix bad players.
2019-10-03 21:53
How did threat fix them then? If the coach is good he can change the mentality oh his players.
2019-10-03 21:57
nip never played good cs. they always relied on individual form.
2019-10-03 22:10
Go watch NiP when they had pyth under Threat. Their T sides were really good. Their ct setups had logic. They had a home map like cache which they were great on. Tell me NiP's home map now. Look at the terrible win percentages they have.

+1 for you my friend, you have a brain unlike 90% of hltv, I am a coach for a semi pro team that plays in 99dmg league and I agree with all of your points, threat was the one and only in the swedish scen that could have made NIP or Fnatic better. To bad fnatic kicked twist and not jw. I mean like why add flusha insted of olofmeister? I know some rumers that olof wants to play in a swedish team again but I cant verify them, he prob could not leave because of a big buyout or something like that.
2019-10-03 22:13
Congratz on your job and wish you good luck and future success. My last point about this topic will be how they used to have a home map in cache with Threat. They were so great on that map. Now they barely have 45-50% winrate on maps.
2019-10-04 14:30
threat could talk the whole time when he made them really good, after coaching rule they weren't as good anymore.

i sont know the reason nip still keep him. he has never played csgo. and when he played cs 1.6, he was not an igl, not known for tactics. in fact im still waiting for him to reveal the secret to aim.

pita did play cs go professionally at some points (CLG). nevertheless its not needed to play pro cs go to understand the meta aha you are mentioning when he said he discovered the secret to play better? he revealed that was his arm position which changed xD
2019-10-03 22:01
I have seen matches where I have noticed pita just sitting on his chair scrolling his phone basicly doing nothing for the team...

Seems like hes just a spectator who has access to the players, like a #nr1 fan. Get him out and use THREAT/RobbaN/Jumpy??
2019-10-03 21:40
+1 agreed. no change in setups no good strats he is just sitting there like a dummy.
2019-10-03 21:43
Inferno comes to mind. Their banana control is sub optimal and not in the meta at all. Their A hold is just as average. They never have a total shutdown on A when the pit guy and site guy kill like 4 players before they can get traded. Their defense is so atypical. Other top teams are like an well oiled machine.

Pita sucks! They really should kick him!
2019-10-03 21:44
I didn't watch the whole match but honestly I am thinking this for a long time now this guy just doesn't belong in there i don't know if he even analizes themselves or other teams... If hes going back to the desk after their matches and tries to find their mistakes... I don't think he should be coaching them as his overall knowledge of the game seems Pretty low
2019-10-03 21:45
I think about this as well but if he did demo watching they wouldnt do the same mistakes and same exploitable setups over and over again. If he watches the demos of other teams he should be called analyst and leave the coaching to someone competent. If he does scheduling and stuff he should be administrator/manager whatever you can call it and not coach. Durig matches he just sits there like he is depressed. That is not the right attitude at all especially if you have young players on your team.
2019-10-03 21:51
Yep his attitude his definitely what is most annoying.. He's looking depressed as you say and sometimes I feel like he brings even more nervousness into the team during critical rounds... But I don't know if nip is in the right place anyway by their roster.. I am finally happy that they added an awper to their roster and forest finally can have impact again with rifling but I'm still not sure about it even if they looked a bit better

i was so frustrated from their ct side on inferno against navi,oh my lord that was so fucking bad.WTF is that communication.U know navi gonna hit B but they are still staying 3 people on A,just what the actual fuck is this shit.Cant do anything against force buy;too much overpeeking that costs them 3-4 rounds. losing almost every pistol round
2019-10-03 21:59
They always have standard setups on inferno. 1 arch 1 short/site 1 pit and 2 guys B usually 1 on site and 1 rotator. Almost every round this setup. Im not pro and even I noticed this, imagine Blade(navi coach). They never smoke B and keep 4 A. Or leave the awp on B and keep 4 A and rotate quickly. Always the same setups with little to no difference.

Also there was a crap ton of rounds where they didn't even have someone a long twist kept going towards site and leaving it completely open and on one of the rounds he just walked out short and got picked by someone from dark, i feel like with time this could be a good team but they need threat back for that tbh

ye i mean something has to be happening within the team they changed all players but they keep making the same dumb decisions no mater what NiP iteration is playing. that round that f0rest and lekro were in A house CT side inf was so weird, and they have many more like those. oh and those anti force rounds are shit

basically from getright interviews it seems that pita is just there as a moral support, to cheer up when they are down, and lets them do whatever they want, so no one has any issues with him, and nip management is completely incompetent as we know from fiflaren leaks, and terrible roster changes, and wont do anything if its not completely necessary. 91% correct analysis by hltv expert

If you check my profile I’ve been making threads on this for so long now, he is maybe the biggest problem there has ever been in NiP
2019-10-03 22:22
He's still on the team because he's got dirt on big players in NIP. I don't mean "players" either, I mean that shitbag hicham. where's the charity money faruk????
2019-10-03 22:30
>I am someone who has a pretty good knowledge of how CS works. >doesnt understand that Pita is just a MENTAL COACH he's motivating the team in the game. ofc he has some strats, but primarily he just keep the mental side.
2019-10-03 22:43

2019-10-04 20:51
They would have 6 players man xp. I understand you but I would still give REZ a chance under a real Igl. Hell, even MSL would be an improvement.
2019-10-05 14:59
hampus or Xizt is the best choice. MSL isnt worth changing a language.
2019-10-05 15:31
Perhaps Nip should have added a real igl instead og twist

We can clearly see he does nothing useful, they lost so many anti-ecos and postplants today, that's unacceptable The aim on the players is good but their chemistry is VERY bad and this is all about Pita With THREAT NiP become the icon of anti-ecos and a top1-2 team, now they are awful, THREAT was the best addition NiP had after 2015, I'd like him back And -pita ofc, GTR wasnt the problem
