Need new headset, anybody who can recommend quality headsets? I sometimes experience getting sore ears if the headset is too tight so none of that midgetsized headset plox

i would not buy anything that has gaming infront of their brand :D ur way better off if u just buy headphones and a clip on or table mic its just branding and mostly the gaming headphones are the same chip than the not gaming headphones just sold more and way more expensive.
2019-10-10 21:43
this
2019-10-10 21:43
Hmm I already own a studio headset with no mic but the bass is like taking 90% of the sound, but maybe I can fix that and buy table mic
2019-10-10 21:45
Get a cheap audio interface from behringer + shotgun mic. Boya makes very cheap shot gun mics. the sound is focused in one area so it don't even pick up your keyboard sound
2019-10-11 14:52
Oh Nice, i was worried about the keyboard

Not so true, with "gaming" headset you are most likely to hear steps that you wouldn't hear with regular headphones

All the gaming headsets have the almost the same quality : Razer, HyperX, Logitech, etc. Poor engine. But if you want some good stuff go ahead with Sennheiser (Game zero, game one, pc350...)
2019-10-10 21:50
Hmm might look into it, reviews are good Ty dude
2019-10-10 21:54
Sennheiser is goat, audio technica, beyerdynamic etc are also good audio brands. Dont buy logitech/steelseries crap.
2019-10-11 15:55
I already own beyerdynamic for music production, maybe I should just by a table mic
2019-10-11 16:13
I would do that no doubt, much better then logitech etc ''gaming'' headset 👌

2019-10-11 14:54
Damn theyre cheap, wouldnt go down on sound quality tho, but this might still do the job?

The sound is awesome. Friend has razer kraken and its uncomparable, kraken is so shit. Both sound and mic. You can look at gsp 350 which are little bit pricier.

eu.audio-technica.com/headphones/gaming Audio-Technica. Using my Audio-Technica-Headphones since 5 years without any problems. They are comfortable, the sound quality is high and the mics are working perfect. Its a bit more expensive but the quality is top notch.

If you want all in one: Sennheiser PC37X If you want good all around sound (not only for gaming) plus a separate mic: go for a Beyerdynamic of any type, then add a ModMic to it.
2019-10-11 17:46
best headset for gaming : not a gaming headset

The only gaming headset that is actually worth it is the Sennheiser PC37X. Anything else (Hyper X, Logitech, Razer, Steelseries, Turtle Beach etc) is absolutely garbage. The most important thing for CS is the ability to hear footsteps. This is achieved with Open-back headphones as they are usually attributed to a better soundstage. The Sennheiser PC37X is the best "gaming" headset since it is extremely similar to the Sennheiser 559,579,599 series. Personally, if you can spend $30 more, you should get the Senneheiser 58x, which is the best price-performance headphone in the audiophile category, and then get a desktop mic,
