I read and watched them all at least 3 times in Finnish snd once in English, but LOTR ending was >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Harry Potter's ending (books or movie doesnt matter, both were worse)

I can tell you are talking about movie Frodo, yeah he's whiny, but book Frodo is way better and less whiny.
2019-10-11 20:19
+1 Book frodo was much more in control and less mopey until they get to slopes of orodruin where he legit collapses from exhaustion. Also he never tells sam to "go home" that was pretty gay to put in the movie tbh.

He literally says "I was sent back until my task is complete" m8, you cant be sent "back" if youve never been gone from life.
2019-10-11 17:59
Bruh magicians in lotr are suhumans, special beings creates by "gods", they are on earth for a mission, and obviously gandalf's wasn't over, that's why he was sent back 😎😎

Same. Pisses me off how some idiots think that Sauron was the villain in the story. He was just chilling in his kingdom and then those elf fags and aragorns granddaddy attacked him and stole the ring. Then Sauron depressed and went away for ages but eventually he gathered himself up and wanted to get back what is lawfully his - the ring. Totally understandable. To get the ring back he starts by using as little force as possible. He sends just couple horsemen to knock on some doors and ask for the ring in a friendly manner. But no, the dirty thiefs don't want to surrender "their" treasure to its lawful owner. Oh no, they start a fight and start gathering a fucking army. No wonder that Sauron get a bit defensive and starts to put up some army as well because he remembers what happened the last time (humans and elves marched to Mordor to kill Sauron). Then in the end, oh boy what we see again - the bloodthirsty people start a full scale war and march to Mordor again and this time manage to kill Sauron. The story just breaks my heart but in the end it is a good reminder of the real world where evil seems to win time after time.

Okay couple of his employees went a bit over the line with Smeagol. Even though, I think that was justified as there was the future of whole Mordor at stake. Actually the villages were burnt by men and made to look like it was Sauron. That's a good way to get everyone against him. Basic war propaganda, a lot of wars have started the same way.

Nazgül? Yes they were kings but their jealousy and endless desire to have more and more power poisoned their minds. They started to lose all goodness in them and slowly they turned into shadows. Sauron was merciful and saw that there still is some good left in them so he employed them as his advisors. He even gave them horse and flying beast benefits.

Thanks man! Actually no, I've chosen a bit different career path and I'm getting M.Sc in Finance in couple months, so it's a bit late now :D However, taking these irrational positions like 'Sauron was good' and arguing for them is a good brain exercise and nice way to entertain myself (and apparently others as well =) ).

Im probably going to get a lot of hate but I dont give a damn crap. Watched LOTR like couple months ago for the first time and couldnt understand what people find so cool about it. It was very well done in terms of being cinematic but the plot was so childish and average at best. There was 1/2 cool characters and thats it Edit: I wanted to see the real Sauron atleast, thatd be cool
2019-10-12 13:18
You had to watch it as a kid in the early 00s, it doesn't have the same effect in any other given time. Given you're a kid but just late to the party, it's just hard to focus on something when there are so many new things irritating your brain. No offense. Too much crap nowadays and it takes the attention away.
