hours only matter if you're not a pro anyway

How did you come to that conclusion?

because retarded people use hours played as a way to gauge skill or mock one's skill a pro player's hours are always going to be high because they're obligated to play the game
2019-10-13 22:49
Right ok, I thought u meant something else. Yea hours won't tell you a lot, unless they are low.

True but then again you don't know what they've spent the 3k hours on. For example I have a friend who has 1k but maybe around 90-95% of it was him playing jailbreak servers lol
2019-10-14 00:01
yeah my friend has 6k hours but only about 1k of that is actually playing DE,DM or aim practice meanwhile i have 3k hours and 2k in DM, DE or aim practice and he wonder why im so much better than him.

1. Smurf 2. Steam idler to boost hours
2019-10-14 22:12
Who would be such a nolifer loser to boost to 10000 hrs lol
2019-10-14 22:14
Hours never matter, some people idle in menu, some people play kz, some people play to improve, some troll with their friends, some use external help some don't and so on.

u gonna spend much more in job dude, he made amount of money that normal guy will made after 10y on regular job, maybe more
2019-10-13 22:37
cs:go is much more of a gamble though, there are some people who have 8k hours even and still are not even close to pro level, yet they've invested so much time into this game when they could have used that time for studying or pursuing a promising career. To have the sheer resolve to last 14k hours is absurd but also very impressive

United Kingdom szkk
yea, but u should talk about them, they wasting their time, not about pros lol
2019-10-13 22:38
There is no way Ropz could have definitively known he would join mousesports with like 8k hours in, yet he put in the hours anyway. Such an endeavor is what makes it risky
2019-10-14 23:25
you can also have 8k hours and study and pursue a promising career

this
2019-10-14 07:24
you can also fake mental disablity in netherlands and yoink free 1.4k€ a month why u want to get career 4head
2019-10-14 08:34
because working is more enjoyable than faking being disabled? and you get a lot more than 1.4k
2019-10-14 10:40
what about faking ur mentally disabled while playing csgo and going pro?
2019-10-14 11:04
you dont get free money from the govt if you have alternate sources of income and tax fraud will get you in trouble
2019-10-14 11:45
It is a lot harder to actively remain good at csgo and pursue a team to play on while studying at university or engaging within a proper career. That is why players like Zywoo, Jeyn, and Sergej decided to finish school before going pro in cs
2019-10-14 23:26
zywoo is 18 years old i highly doubt he finished uni high school doesnt count, you barely have to do any homework if youre not mentally challenged. i played video games at least 6 hours every day through high school. and thats not counting all the time i spent playing CnC Generals and StarCraft 1 during class on our shitty laptops
2019-10-15 00:06
If you attend a proper high school that prepares you for college like in the United States then you will definitely need to spend a lot of time on your classwork. I am currently taking 6 college classes in my high school and I spend about 6 hours a day on homework. If France or the Netherlands does not require its students to put in the same effort, I adamantly believe a divide in intelligence among our two countries will begin to become quite apparent :)

cs brings a lot too, you shouldn't forget that
2019-10-14 07:24
a lot of blistering misery LOL
2019-10-14 23:26
playing a lot of video games makes you better at decisionmaking and staying calm under pressure. i often notice in situations at work that people dont make optimal decisions because they are not gamers.
2019-10-15 00:08
It really does not LOL it has only heightened my anger problems and cloudiness in thought, realizing that there are so many different options to a once linear decision definitely hurts cognitively. Have 3.5k hours btw, lv 9 on faceit b on esea if interested. Can conclude that it was an absolute waste of time and that if I never played CS:GO my life would have been much more successful

life is a gamble
2019-10-14 21:19
You make your own luck; however, playing csgo to capitalize upon what time you're given in an already short life, investing 11% of your life into a video game as a result, you are gambling with some especially pitiful odds

well if you have a dream, follow it. just a bunch of losers commenting here whose probably achieved nothing of importance. it isnt much when you think of how much time the average joe spends on working for example. I hope everyone knows what ropz has been through of his short/entire life. I think it was shown on a player's profile section at a major. ( youtube.com/watch?v=Kenktg1_dCc) I truely do not want anyone to vitness such a horrible scene. A father commit suicide and his son was around. Meh. It is even hard to write. At that point you need to hold on something, and obviously ropz found it in CS.
