1) Russia takes over Crimea, sanctions 2) Turkey invade Syria, “I guess we wont sell them guns anymore” and then they write about Trump how bad it is that he is not fighting them. lmao

2019-10-15 00:32
War is good will help cut down population then native Europeans can become refugees in USA not only boosting the US economy due to EU buying guns from us but also boosting the IQ level in NA.
2019-10-15 00:33
Only western/northern European refugees though all other Europeans are just as brain dead as NA citizens
2019-10-15 00:35
Funny enough, this was the American immigration law up until the 1930's.
2019-10-15 00:36
Smart law should've kept it around.
2019-10-15 00:38
I wish.
2019-10-15 00:39
We still technically have a rule where immigrants have to fall under a bunch of restrictions like they can't be a professional begger, but nobody follows them anymore
2019-10-15 13:14
nah the way it works now is you just show up at the border and if you fall into an ethnic group that tends to vote Democrat, California will just let you in

This is kind of a complicated toppic. Remember Nazi Germany pre-WW2? How in order to appease Hitler and prevent war, the league of nations didn nothing when Germany took over Austria nd half of Polads, end they even gave away Czechoslovakia despite having a formal alliance with them? How it didn't appease Hitler, but the opposite? There's this thing called the tolerance paradox, and basically it states that "In order to maintain a tolerant society, the society must be intolerant of intolerance." Applying it here might be a bit of a stretch, but I found it quite apt, given the situation.
2019-10-15 12:07
the league of nations also lacked any real power... that's practically the main reason why it dissolved
2019-10-15 19:57
Not standing your ground is how you get to concede things until war is inevitable.

If you don't think Turkey will be hit by sanctions, you are beyond gullible. It was just announced that they will be imposed soon by the US. reuters.com/article/us-syria-security-tu.. The European leaders will meet at a summit at October 17-18th, where we will hear how the EU reaction will be, which is most likely an arms embargo and further sanctions. Most likely also a withdrawal of EU aid. You're welcome for your quick lesson on this particular, current political issue.
2019-10-15 00:35
Many EU countries already stopped making arms-deals with turkey.

Yes, but having it imposed by EU might force countries, such as the UK, to stop arms deals with them as well.. which they have so far refused. We also haven't seen any official EU sanctions yet, besides the various countries putting on embargos.
2019-10-15 00:51
Theyll just get those from China then. Totalitarian shit holes like to work with each other.

Yeah obviosly not. But we wanted to replace it a) because of the safety aspect. Yes, it is pretty safe in western countries but there is always the possibilty of a crash. And b) we don't have a final solution for it since no region wants to store the toxic waste for the next few thousand years. Already problematic enough with the toxic waste we currently got.

I can imagine it to be not very costefficient, since noone does it i suppose? Although i like this idea. But it could be problematic in the future aswell. We already got to much waste in the orbit. The point with the safety aspect still stands. We're already bordering one of belgiums problem reactors in tihange which they refuse to shut down despite the fact that it is in a fucking terrible condition

"Now let's set the record straight. There is no argument over the choice between peace and war, but there is only one guaranteed way you can have peace--and you can have it in the next second--surrender. Admittedly there is a risk in any course we follow other than this, but every lesson in history tells us that the greater risk lies in appeasement, and this is the specter our well-meaning liberal friends refuse to face--that their policy of accommodation is appeasement, and it gives no choice between peace and war, only between fight and surrender. If we continue to accommodate, continue to back and retreat, eventually we have to face the final demand--the ultimatum. And what then? When Nikita Khrushchev has told his people he knows what our answer will be? He has told them that we are retreating under the pressure of the Cold War, and someday when the time comes to deliver the ultimatum, our surrender will be voluntary because by that time we will have weakened from within spiritually, morally, and economically. He believes this because from our side he has heard voices pleading for "peace at any price" or "better Red than dead," or as one commentator put it, he would rather "live on his knees than die on his feet." And therein lies the road to war, because those voices don't speak for the rest of us. You and I know and do not believe that life is so dear and peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery. If nothing in life is worth dying for, when did this begin--just in the face of this enemy? Or should Moses have told the children of Israel to live in slavery under the pharaohs? Should Christ have refused the cross? Should the patriots at Concord Bridge have thrown down their guns and refused to fire the shot heard 'round the world? The martyrs of history were not fools, and our honored dead who gave their lives to stop the advance of the Nazis didn't die in vain. Where, then, is the road to peace? Well, it's a simple answer after all. You and I have the courage to say to our enemies, "There is a price we will not pay." There is a point beyond which they must not advance. This is the meaning in the phrase of Barry Goldwater's "peace through strength." Winston Churchill said that "the destiny of man is not measured by material computation. When great forces are on the move in the world, we learn we are spirits--not animals." And he said, "There is something going on in time and space, and beyond time and space, which, whether we like it or not, spells duty." You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on Earth, or we will sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness.

I hate Erdogan as much as the next guy but the fact is Turkey is in NATO (and they're an important member) and we're jeopardizing our relationship with Turkey over a separatist group that operates in Turkey's own borders. Imagine a Mexican nationalist group in California trying to split off and form a contiguous sovereignty with part of Mexico. USA would have to smash the separatists in California and invade Mexico as well. How stupid would it be if our NATO allies sided with Mexico? I feel for the Kurds, but this really isn't our fight and we made promises to Turkey back in the 60's (I think this is when they were brought into NATO). The only reason USA is in this position is our previous administration (just like many before it) armed factions around the world without Congressional approval. When the authority of a single man is enough to take sides in a clusterfuck like Syria, it should be no surprise that the position of the President is just as mercurial as the sentiment among the American electorate

It has nothing to do with erdogan.I hate him aswell.Never voted or would vote for him.But this is beyond erdogan or his party. We are fighting against pkk for more than half centuries. They killed so many civillians including Kurds,Turks,Arabs. This move considered as necessary and supported by almost everyone in the country, including Kurdish citizens. But western media shows that as we are trying an ethnic cleansing like wtf? We have 12 million Kurdish people in Turkey. If we are indeed trying an ethnic cleansing towards Kurds, how come Kurdish people in Turkey also supports this operation? There are 2 reasons for this operation : 1) We do not want a terror organisation YPG which an US senator agreed that YPG is related to PKK which recognized as a terrorist organisation by US and EU. So no country in the world would want a terror organisation right next to their door. So we want to clear the erea. 2) We have more than 3.5million Syrian refugees. They are refugee in our country because their country is filled with terror organisations and also Assad regime. So with the secure erea those refugees could go back to their own country.Which is actually benefit for other eu countries aswell.
2019-10-15 20:35
I agree. The strategy USA has been pursuing for the last 10 years hasn't been working for Turkey, and it's important that it does given that Syria's problems can very quickly become Turkey's problems.
2019-10-15 20:39
Stop with the PPK = YPG. You know very well PKK is an internal threat, mostly in East Turkey and Iraqi Kurdistan mountains. There has been no attack on Turkey from PKK from Syria. Stop lying to yourself. You will never have a safe border until you stop arming, training and paying these jihadis in Northern Syria. Remember, YPG was armed to fight sunni jihadist and ISIS not Turkey in the first place.
