you? wdym? what im saying is that 3700x will barely bottleneck my gpu, then i don't need a powerfull i7 9700k
2019-10-17 00:43
No GPU will cause the CPU to bottleneck. It's will be the other way around if anything. I had a 1080ti and Ryzen 5 1600 and even that didn't bottleneck the 1080ti. You setup looks nice but I would go for a higher frequency ram. 3200 is kind of low these days.

you do realize that AMD ryzen 3k series is the best for csgo, way better price, way better multicore, competitive single core, comes with an actually working stock cooler because they use thermaltake ones, Has what's going to be a long supported socket type, and is just better than intel overall in pretty much every way. Also has the edge in csgo which is the only thing that matters to the person making this thread reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/ca..

its like 60 USD for a kit of 16gb 3200MHz ram over here. insane how a 2x4 2400mhz kit used to cost around 80 dollars less than a year ago

A German alternative would be "mindfactory" shipping is 8,99€ or free if you order between 0-6 o'clock in the morning. I have ordered there in the past everything worked out fine. I'm sure there are similar shops in France as well.

Extra cores does almost nothing in CSGO, You can also save and get some lower speed RAM (2400Mhz) because Intel chips do not gain as much of a performance upgrade than AMD from faster memory. You can also get a decent air cooler like a Hyper 212 Evo and overclock that comfortably from 4.6 to 4.8 with 1.3V.
2019-10-16 04:29
amd > intel also what says he will only play cs:go

AMD does surpass Intel in many productivity tests due to its higher core count, however in all games except strategy titles, rarely would 4 cores or above be utilized. This all depends on what he needs to do with his PC and it's up to him to decide between game performance or actual workloads, but for all the "popular" games right now getting a 3700X is pretty unnecessary, as clock speed and IPC are much more important than core count, which Intel can provide at a cheaper price. Also saying AMD is just flat-out better than Intel is just plain stupid, any type of fanboyism in anything is stupid, AMD and Intel are companies they do not reciprocate your love for their products or care about it.

I have the same RAM but 32GB of it. I opted for a better mobo too because it has wifi and it’s made of carbon and i got a free water cooler. I also opted for a 3900x to not run out of cores in a 4-5y.

You need 264gb of ram, otherwise you will only get 16fps... 264gb of ram = 264fps...

For memory I'd recommend Trident Z, it's kind of designed for AMD cpus newegg.com/g-skill-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdr.. Sense it's CS your gpu that doesn't need to do much, and you have a 550+ average fps cpu, the rest is fine. Also very nice mobo.

That combo seems ok but you can run this new processors on old mobos. For example x470 and b450.. You can save almost 100€ if it makes diference to you.

Ryzen 3rd Gen CPUs really benifits from Memory with speed above 3600MHz. There are videos on youtube testing and benchmarking it, if you would like to see. I would like to suggest a RAM with 3600MHz speed with good latency, if it fits your budget. Also would like to suggest one more thing. You could save a lot of money by going with B450 chipset instead of X570 only thing you have to do is update your bios to get support for 3rd gen ryzen CPUs al though you have make be sure that motherboard you are choosing has flash bios feature or you will have to go to service center to get it updated. The X570 board that you have chosen is one of the cheapest X570 board out there where as if you choose to go with B450 the cheaper ones start from around 80-90 EUR at your place (there is one listed for 70EUR but I wouldn't recommend that one unless your going for smaller size build.) The only difference between X570 and B450 is X570 support SLI and B450 does not (that would be issue only in case if you want to put 2 high end nVidia GPUs in your system AMD chipset won't be problem as B450 does support crossfire.) and 2nd thing is X570 has newer Gen4 PCI-E Slot instead of B450's Gen3 Slots which are much faster although that also wouldn't be a problem unless you want to put one of those highly expensive Gen4 M.2 drives in there. In short B450 would save you around 100 EUR which you could use to invest in faster RAM, but only do that if you are sure that you can get the bios updated either with flash bios method. (I would recommend MSI B450 Tomhawk, it is one of the best option available.) or if motherboard you may choose doesn't have flash bios feature you will have to go to service center to get it updated.
2019-10-17 12:36
nice I have the same except different mobo what gpu ?
2019-10-18 21:05
MSI's cheap X570 boards are trash, their VRM's run well over 100C under load. I'd get either B450 Tomahawk or Carbon pro or if you want X570 get the X570 Asus Tuf board.
