United States CarolinaG
I will go with my family to Argentina for 2 weeks beginning of December. They are in business but I am free. Any travel advice for 2 weeks?

I recomment using the protection when doing prostitutes (or any other girl you don't really know), no matter how expansive they are.

Says the american LUL You are so obsessed with Brazil since so many years, racist kiddo. Get over the fact a brazilian has banged your mom and that's it.
2019-10-16 05:53
Brazil is not a race, it's a country. Did you drop out of school around 5 years old?
2019-10-17 07:35
Yeah and calling brazilian people out there "scum", "monkey", "bandits" like you used to do in some deleted comments back then aren't racistic at all.
2019-10-24 04:55
been there 4 years ago, absolutely amazing country but for only two weeks and with the family it's kinda hard to recommend. guess you gonna land in buenos aires so a good 3-4 days there should be enough (boca, richolleta palermo etc..). i went directly south to Ushuaia but i would recommend you guys go north to rosario for 2-3 days then to mar del plata (never been to both but i heard rosario is a great city for the youth, and mar del plata is a beach resort perfect for families i assume. you can also cross the board to Uruguay they have amazing beaches nearby. that should be enough for 2 weeks but i will undoubtly recommend you guys to make the trip 1 month or so and make it to the south - Tierra del fuego is absolutely nuts and isn't skippable. if it is a bit too far/ not fitting to your family, try to make it to Bariloche (it is kind of between the south and buenos aires) and the area - amazing city and the surroundings are insane.. hope it helped if you need anything feel free to ask argentina is absolutely the nuts
2019-10-16 04:19
Wow, than you so much, i just take advantage of my dad and brother trip, only 2 weeks. I will take your recommendation into consideration.

Its so much better and different that its a sin to call it bbq like they do in the US, just refer to it as asado because there is no bbq like an asado.

What do you like more sea or mountains? If you like mountains and want to see prob one of the most epic in the planet come to Mendoza (where i live) Its an arid place with no much green though, its a different kind of beauty. Also I would reccomend you Bariloche (Rio Negro), Iguazu (Misiones), many places in cordoba like La Falda for example and more. It depends on how much time you want to spend traveling, its a big country.
2019-10-16 04:37
Yes I love mountains, I will do more research on your recommendations. Seems 2 weeks not enough for Argentina!

Patagonia its a beautiful place too but be warned, the winds are crazy and non stop, so if you don't stand absolutely constant strong and cold winds then maybe you won't like the south so much, although it really gets crazy the more south you go, bariloche its not as windy for example.
2019-10-16 04:48
Just searched on Google, very beautiful national park, I will defenitely go there!

Indeed an absolutely gorgeous place, with climate similar to that of northwestern Europe and surrounds that resemble the Swiss Alps, no wonder why several wwii german officers spent the last part of their life hiding there (including hitler himself) and also in cordoba.
2019-10-16 05:08
omg forgot about the Iguazu :X still a problem to include it in 2 weeks time frame

in Buenos Aires, just move around safe areas in east center/north part of the city like Palermo, Recoleta, Belgrano, around obelisco and congress, etc, La Boca is a good place for tourism but be careful is you are going to it and don't go to Once and Constitucion, those places are very crowded places to visit? maybe theaters, museums, plaza de mayo, obelisco, green areas (you will find a lot in Palermo), festivals, at night there are plenty of clubs, i've seen some tour bus around the city, that would be a nice option too
2019-10-16 04:46
Thank you very much, very likely I will have 4 days in Buenos Aires. Will do.

Go to Buenos Aires, La plata, tucúman
2019-10-16 04:53
You CAN'T skip the south. Tierra del Fuego, Bariloche, etc, are simply amazing. I would also highly recommend Tucumán (Tafi del Valle and Bosque Tucumano), and after that I would go to Cafayate, Salta Capital, Purmamarca, Tilcara, Humahuaca, and Iruya at the end. Iruya is probably the most magic place I've ever met and I already travelled for an aceptabble amount of countries. It looks like tons of km to run but those places are actually close enough to finish the trip at 5 days probably. Of course it also depends on the amount of money you're able to expend because you're going to need to take a flight to San Salvador de Jujuy and then begin the trip over the north side of the country.
2019-10-16 04:57
Thank you so much, I will study those place. I will ask my brother to pay, it's his problem on cost :D
2019-10-16 04:58
You probably won't have much money problems because the exchange is over $60 - U$D1 so it's actually pretty cheap for you guys. If I ain't wrong you could pay like 80u$d the flight to San Salvador from Tierra del Fuego/Bariloche at most.
2019-10-16 05:02
Good to know that, thank you.

Fake flagger here. You'll most probably go to Buenos Aires if it's a bussiness thing. If you like footb... soccer, you should take a visit to La Bombonera, Boca's stadium, and El Monumental, River's stadium, both are historic places in the city. The neighborhood of "La Boca", where La Bombonera is located, it's a beautiful place, you should definitely go there. I don't know when in december you're gonna go, but maybe you can go on 12/12 to watch Riquelme's farewell game; Maradona, Palermo, and maybe even Messi will be there playing or at least present. Watching any football game in general is going to be good, the crowds in Argentina are amazing. There are many theaters and music pubs, if you like metal there are some clubs and bars which host various bands each weekend, if you like other kind of music you can surely find them playing somewhere in those places too, there's never a shortage of music shows and stuff in Argentina. Soda Stereo is making a comeback too, I don't know when though, but they'll have the singer of Coldplay, U2 and other big bands singing.

I think that you have go both north and south if you like mountains. North is likely for going with your family, but near Colonia Suiza on Río Negro You will have a lot of alpinism to do, but for that, you will need equipment. If you want beaches, I think almost all beaches here are shit and overcrowded, but it is worth going to beach cities like Mar del Plata because it is very nice. In Buenos Aires be care with taxi and remises because they can ask you for the money they want if they see you are "gringo", so if you can, use apps like cabify or Uber, even the free bikes of the government. Finally, I live in a zone of the Buenos Aires province that is called "conurbano" specifically in "zona sur" (south zone). Be care in the south and west zone, because there are a lot of dangerous neighbourhoods and not so much people speaks English. Also, be care with traffic in all the country because a lot of people drives very bad and try to not say bad things about the country in front of other people because they can get very angry.

thank you very much!
