The objective of the project is to teach high school students and university students the basics of working with open data and prediction algorithms, which is a component of machine learning. Participants will write code to analyze open information, compare it to form tables and graphs.
During the final stage of the event, two teams of 15-20 people will compete in writing the code - one formed from schoolgirls, the other - from students, led by twin sisters, IT specialists Olga and Yulia Shologon. Teams will present their developments to the jury from university faculty and IT companies.
The day of the competition will be preceded by the following stages:
- posting information about the project and announcement with a test task, the solution of which should be of interest to the project and will be an element of selection in the teams;
- formation of two teams;
- Organization of acquaintance of selected team members, distribution of roles in teams, in accordance with the principles of functional distribution in IT companies (07-08.10);
- writing commands templates - "billets" of code that they will need to use directly on the day of the competition.
The winning team will be awarded prizes.
