Is it real? Like can't you just turn off your pc/phone or delete social media
2019-10-17 08:39
Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
yeah its all bullshit, just delete the app or if you dont want to get bullied anywhere just stop being a lil fockin bish
2019-10-17 08:44
-1 You don’t even know what bullying means. You have probably never been bullied, you don’t know how they feel like. Bullying can ruin childhoods and some kids don’t even make it trough their childhood. -1

I've been bullied and I still don't think cyber bullying is real
2019-10-17 08:59
I never knew people that were getting cyberbullied, but I knew people that were getting bullied at school and these people didn’t had social media, probably because they didn’t wanted to undergo the same thing that they suffer at school. But they are people that don’t turn off their computer or delete social media.

I mean you can do that. But when someone cyberbullies you its not just one death thread. Those people are extra commited to the thing. And they will harras you anywhere you are. And it can even be a group of people. And idk it may become extremely demorlalizing after youve recieved tens of emails targeting you every day for a longer time. And often the people targetting you online can be people you know irl

If you them irl, can't you just call the police on them? And can't you make a new email address?

Yes they will. Particularly if they are from a minority, female or left wing. Try saying in this Forum, that you are left wing or muslim or maybe even vegan, and see what happens. Bloggers are among those most often attacked systematically, if they are from one of those groups. If you own a business, the bullies can ruin it by posting lots of fake bad reviews. Thats cyber bullying too. Right wing people get attacked too irl.

Then report then to your local authorities. (Assuming its a crime in your country)
2019-10-17 08:56
Yes, but lots of kids don’t talk about this to their parents.
2019-10-17 08:59
If they know you irl and do the same irl it's not cyber bullying?
2019-10-17 09:03
I don’t know. For me cyberbullying is just getting bullied from people on social media, email, ...
2019-10-17 09:10
Yes i agree with that but if they do it irl as well the problem isnt cyberbullying it's bullying. If the problem was just cyber bullying in social medias he can just change accounts and everything is over.

They could bully you in chats, on their posts, sure you can block them but you would still feel pretty bad
2019-10-17 10:25
It is like saying, are backstabs in London real or school shootings in us real? Just ask home delivery and stay in basement playing csgo for UK. And for US don't go to schools cuz you know there is no difference if you go to school or not.

People these days get on legal meds at like 5 years old. They can't just log off. Many kids brains are fried by 15. Kill themselves or go postal.

Of course it´s real It keeps a lot of people from taking part in debates and other online activities, if they get hammered all the time. If you "walk away" then you´re excluded from the space where people spend more and more time. There is bullying in this forum too, all the time. You may be protected by anonymity, so it´s not personal. On the other hand, people are bullying a lot more, when they are anonymous. And it will hurt, when you get hateful comments all the time. That goes for hateful comments about your country or religion too. If you post a picture of a girl you met, because you´re proud to know her, or post a picture of something you made, and tons of people make hateful comments, then it will hurt even if you´re anonymous. If you deny the existence of cyber bullying, you are most likely a bully yourself.

Who cares about being excluded on social media? It's literally a waste of time if you spend all your free time on it.
2019-10-17 09:02
+1 I'm so glad I had my childhood and teens before social media. That shit's fucked up.

its happening right now all over the internet, people been threatened people abusing people. people calling people names been horrible to each other up setting people.. thats bullying m8 and yes it even has effect on them just because your behind pc it does not mean u stil dont feel.. words are powerfull when you speak you give life. becarefull of your words. ofcource bullying is a thing even still on the internet dude. infact its probably wrose as the bully feels safe behind his little computer screen and thinks he can get away with it.. which he is wrong lol so infact its even wrose on here...

I'm surprised that no one has posted that Tyler The Creator tweet yet but seriously, it depends, if some guy attacks you on HLTV it doesn't matter, you're gonna forget it after 2 seconds, but if you become the target of harrassment of a lot of people, or worse of someone who has a lot of followers/influence, then it's a bit different, it can be hard to handle. People are getting meaner, before if someone made fun of your pic you could always say "well I fucked it up, I'm the one that uploaded it" but nowadays any retard with a smartphone could sneak a pic of you and you could became some internet meme, like it or not. just turn off your pc? Well that works most of the time, but a lot of the times those things have repercussions in real life but then again at that point it stops being cyberbullying
