Last game against Astralis.. Astralis did not win that game, fnatic lost it. Even so they almost managed to win. Astralis need an update, Stavn instead of xyp9x.

I think that they have a good chance for top 5, it's a new roster and they're already competing with Astralis.

top6 100%,no astralis or liquid on starseries s8 so they will get semifinals probably that will be enough points to end at top6 even if they dont performal as good as they did last few matches

If I counted this correctly it is only IEM Beijing, EPL Odense, ECS Arlington and DH Winter left this year. Which means that there aren't too many points to play for, while a lot of teams will have declining points in the ranking system. Fnatic won't have declining in the same sense due to being utterly shit most of the year. So I'd say they will be among the top 7 teams.

"utterly shit right now" ... I mean ... Do you actually UNDERSTAND Counter Strike? Okay, so let's take a look at the numbers, shall we? RIGHT NOW. Two ranking lists, slightly different algorithms, but #1 and #2: Astralis and Liquid. The RD score after 3 rounds in the ESL Pro League, Group stage: Liquid = 50, Astralis = 25 as 1st and 2nd highest scoring teams. But these two teams have been #1 and #2 IN THE WORLD for 1,5 year by now. I understand if you'd say something like "maybe not in form" or "the competition is hard" or something ... but no: Just like a stupid machine-like "0/1" kind of logic you either win all the time against everybody or you are "s**t". PLEEEZ show me you are able to OBSERVE, THINK and CONCLUDE !!! Or were you taken over by Skynet or somdin'? Astralis and Liquid are ALREADY on The Road To Odense. Not 16-0'ing everybody on their way, but you may benefit from looking at - actually EVERYTHING in life - a SCALE instead of "0/1", "either/or" type of logic. And yes: We will probably see Fnatic in the mix as well, come December in Odense.

2ith current form and some slight improvements they might be top 3. But I don't wanna go that far. We haven't seen enough of them yet. But what we've seen has been incredible
2019-10-18 08:13
"Which means that there aren't too many points to play for" fnatic got 488 points after dh malmo so there are tons of points to play for(depends on which teams will attend those events)

United Arab Emirates p1peb0mb
Fnatic got 488 points because they won 6bo3s to win that event while beating 2nd,5th and 7th ranked teams at that time. Only coming events to have such top teams are EPL Finals, Blast finals, Beijing and Starseries. All others are turning in crap events. If fnatic do decent in starseries and epl. They will stay top 5 easily
2019-10-18 08:47
thats why i said: "depends on which teams will attend those events"

You can't expect more than one or two to make the same kinda leap as Fnatic did, and all their points are fresh while the teams around them will have a faster decline in points.
2019-10-18 09:26
faze(124 points) or maybe even g2(203 points) could mage huge jump if they will perform well. also navi could enter top5(maybe even top3)

Yeah there are more teams that can, and most likely, will do a leap at the end of the year. But you also have teams top 10 that will drop due to declining points. Fnatic had 67 points before DH Malmö and therefore doesn't have too many points to lose. So as long as they don't flunk every tournament they will stay top 7 just by the recent results And if you check how they play it doesn't seem likely they will flunk
2019-10-18 09:39
yea i surely agree
