You shouldn't join on powerlifting and heavy weights at 15 men It is just an advice, I've started at 17 and it seems too early yet :)

You didn't get the point mister potato chip. KEY WORD WAS "ONLY NEED IF YOU ARE A LAZY ASS." Mister big brain here, lol.

How are your other lifts? I am working on squats and deadlifts this year, got them up to about 130kg and 140kg respectively by now. At the start of 2019 I was putting the same 100kg on all three powerlifting moves :D
2019-10-18 23:02
deadlift 200kg (conventional) and incline bench 115kg (dont do flat bench)

2019-10-19 15:39
i think its pretty usual to use knee sleeves to keep knee joints safe, belt to improve bracing and tank top can be useful when low bar squatting to help keep it in place. u dont make much sense
2019-10-19 15:44
never said that it's not useful or makes sense to do it but it still looks gay

is it a proper squat? Because at the gym i constantly see people do weights beyond their limit with terrible form
2019-10-18 23:24
the depth wouldn't be accepted in a powerlifting meet but its about parallel and i had soft knees at the end but its a gym pr
2019-10-18 23:26
gym pr? quite shit gym then
2019-10-19 12:52
gym pr means that its a pr done at the gym. comp pr is a pr in competition.
2019-10-19 14:47
Soft knees? Ive never seen people with trouble on lockout wdym?
2019-10-19 14:50
if u watch the squat #35 i didnt lockout my knees cos i had too much adrenaline
2019-10-19 15:46
The knees dont really matter here, you would have locked it out easily if you had taken your time. I dont mean to hate tho but that is a bit too high but its a 1rm attempt I get it, just dont squat like that every time trying to chase numbers. Your gym is awesome btw I lift in a shitty commercial gym with 1 bench, 1 squat rack, no deadlift platforms and fucked up plates, I would kill to lift there.
2019-10-19 15:57
yea i know it was a bit high, like i mentioned it would've never been accepted in competition. its kinda hard for me to squat deep enough with low bar cos my mobility is kinda shit.. yea my gym is awesome. i feel u

It's okay to go heavy.. but be smart and dont max out every session..
2019-10-19 15:04
Kinda disagree since progression is mandatory for growth both in terms of muscle and strength. Which means you are going to have to go somewhat heavy pretty much all the time, depending on the program of course. But form is still important of course.
2019-10-19 16:05
you're a little heavy but if you're toned it doesn't matter much but remind yourself that you'll probably become a meatball when you're 30 lol
2019-10-18 23:34
im about 14% body fat which is below average, i wouldnt call myself very toned but im certainly not fat

2019-10-18 23:55
With proper form joints won't become an issue.
2019-10-19 12:54
it will . working out at a too young age isnt good
2019-10-19 14:49
If this were true then all of the top powerlifters and strongmen wouldn't be able to walk because of knee tendinitis, which isn't the case.. Tendons get stronger as your muscles get stronger....
2019-10-19 15:44
m8 go look up tendencies of damages for people that started working out too early. also a 15 yr old wont have the correct mentality when it comes to working out since their to immature

I'm really curious about how your progress went. I'm kinda stuck at 140kg x 6~7
2019-10-18 23:56
about 4 months ago I was stuck at 110kg, then i started training very seriously and hardbulking, gained about 5kg of good weight and lifts skyrocketed up. I've trained for about 14 months now and started training legs about 2-3 months into lifting. My first ever 1rm was 60kg, it slowly progressed into the 110kg then i hit a plateau. i took probably a 2 week break from squatting heavy, trying to get my form better. practiced low bar and started hardbulking. and yea here we are, part of the 4 plate club.

177cm, already peak height
2019-10-19 15:28
You know im 177cm right now and im 17, I have started with lifting at almost 14. But my brother is 23 and just some cm taller than me. Its just the genetics. But atleast I have an advantage in deadlifts with that height.
2019-10-19 21:52
But it doesn't. No study has ever shown it to. Here's a study with 200+ citations that shows it has no impact: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/17119361/ Here's an article explaining the myth that resistance training stunts growth: healthline.com/health/does-lifting-weigh..

2019-10-19 15:56
Yup. Don't really think arboga lifts since i've argued with him on a similar topic before where he believed in a myth about lifting.

2019-10-19 15:51
Started doing serious deadlifts now and I realise how fast the weigths go up, from one training to another +20kg added. And my whole gym is in love with those Climaqx ultra grips They are so good for deadlifiting and other push/pulling exercises. I really recommend them
2019-10-19 21:57
Are you trying to compensate for something or why are you posting this in a cs forum?
2019-10-19 15:51
Off Topic > 180kg squat @ 15
2019-10-19 15:51
:D. Np, if you need the validation then take it, but dont expect happiness from it
2019-10-19 16:30
Don't break your back. Bad technique and you can damage your spine permamently.
2019-10-19 15:58
True but from what i've heard is that it's hard to get to a 4plate+ squat if you're doing it improperly. So assuming that is true then his form is most likely fine.
2019-10-19 15:59
you legit are trying too hard to sound like youi know shit bro just fucking leave this forum jesus fuck ure so fucking obviously not a lifter
2019-10-19 18:26
deadlift - 225kg squat - 180kg bench - 105kg @17 91.5kg's :>
2019-10-20 15:26
lul the number of nerds who actually believe this 15 yo retard is lifting this much hltv is indeed full of virgin fat fucks
2019-10-19 16:11
why is a 4plate squat so unbelievable dor a 15 yr old? you do realize that there are 15 yr olds squatting 200kg's+?
2019-10-19 16:13
no there arent. only a very fucking few of them
2019-10-19 18:22
then u have some low ass standards
2019-10-20 15:22
lmfao no just fucking stop dude, cringe fatass virgin
2019-10-21 06:59
Someone appears to be weaker than a 15 yr old...
2019-10-21 13:27
why would my age be a limiting factor
2019-10-20 17:49
once again some hltv fit expert telling gym stories on hltv. You def didn't life 180
2019-10-19 16:13
#35 I still don't understand why 180kg seems impossible for a 15 year old to lift?
2019-10-19 16:17
you really believe some hltv nerd posts a real video óf him squatting? I'm not saying its impossible for a 15 year old there's videos of younger kids doing it but its hltv full of people who want to be something they are not
2019-10-19 16:26
The reason i believe is because not everyone on this website is a skinny nerd who has never touched a weight in their life. Plus a 180kg squat isn't an un-achievable number as a young lifter...
2019-10-19 16:30
>15 year old >200 kg squat mate youre fucking deluded arent you? youre probably one of those guys who participate in fitness forums tam about their lifts and shit after signing up in their local gym for a week jesus christ stop fucking lying its so obvious
2019-10-19 18:23
so let me get this straight... a 15 yr old squatting 180kg is close to impossible in ur mind? have u ever touched a weight in ur life?
2019-10-20 15:25
imgur.com/axnsmjY how is this not real
2019-10-19 18:39

2019-10-19 16:21
