Is there a difference between higher mouse dpi with low ingame sens and lower dpi with high ingame sens?

Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
I prefer higher dpi for better micro adjusts on high sens

No. 2 Sens with 400 DPI is the same as 0.5 Sens with 1600 DPI. But if your DPI goes too low, pixel skipping can happen. youtube.com/watch?v=8XNUp70mDlQ

From what I've heard (and correct me if I'm mistaken), you should not use 400 dpi under 1080p, because it causes small amounts of pixel skipping. However players like ropz, swag, shroud, etc. Use 400 dpi and 1080p and their on the pro scene so I don't think it matters that much.

When he played pro, he didn't, plus 50 dpi isn't important in the scheme of what we're talking about.

it doesn't skip any pixels at higher dpi, you can't really notice it unless you REALLY look for it and it disappears around 1600+ dpi, if you're on or under 400dpi and 1920 you might see it can go on your own server and do sv_cheats 1 then fov_cs_debug 1 and move your view up and right to see it snapping right then up instead of moving smoothly

Its very simple DPI isnt the correct term, its CPI, its counts per inch, basically at a higher CPI your mouse will take more reading and will be able to detect smaller movements.

nah, its all about edpi (dpi*sens)

with my own experience,800dpi+1.1 sensi in game are totally different with 400dpi+2.2 in game, idk why but it really feels different, especially when use awp.resolution is 1280x960 and i would say 800dpi or higher is better.

Not noticeable unless you go extreme
