So as you can see i happen to get pretty low fps like (100-120) - (medium settings) on simple games one of them being CSGO it self. My pc is pretty high-end i would say. specs- RTX 2060 Super Ryzen 7 2700 16gb ram 1 ssd, 3hdd x 1tb So if anyone could come with some suggestions i would be really happy. (I have tried all the casual stuff, update drivers etc)

Configurações > Atualização e Segurança > Recuperação e selecione Começar em Voltar para a versão anterior do Windows 10 Config > Updates and Security > System Restoration then click Start at "back to the previous version of W10" Loose translation and I don't know if it still works

Im not sure. Best way is to check manually, make sure everything is placed and plugged in correctly. Maybe is not getting enough power

Ok but when i did benchmark everything seemed fine, gpu was like 3% below average

Lol these people are giving stupid answers. If you benchmarked and your GPU is around average try adjusting settings which can make a large impact, maybe try turning on/off multicore rendering in csgo settings, also make sure you're playing fullscreen not borderless/fullscreen-windowed. Only other suggestion is to check RAM is running at the right speed.
2019-10-20 00:59
Thanks for the reply, however i play with strecthed RES 1280x1024 and i have tried playing around with the settings but only getting minor changes. And how can i know what the right speed is for the ram? Do i just tab out and check the task manager how it is running?
2019-10-20 01:05
just oc ram as much as u can ryzen is heavily dependant on ram speeds which may make it slow if u got like 2133/2400mhz ram 3200mhz makes it way better

2019-10-20 01:08
yas. bad memory can kill fps. You wiped old drivers with DDU wiper right? You try older gpu drivers too? sometimes a year old driver will be silky smooth with cs compared to a new driver from 2019
2019-10-20 01:10
if u only play cs, i think its the 378 version of nvidia, that performs the best. make a quick google on it, and you will see some tests that have been made. Although it might give problems in newer games.
2019-10-26 01:40
Ryzen 2nd gen is pretty shit for CSGO, 3rd gen yes they improved IPC and Single Core and it is doing great in CSGO, if u change ur CPU to Ryzen 5 3600, ur fps problem gonna be fixed.
2019-10-20 01:09
really? Ryzen 5 > ryzen7?
2019-10-20 01:10
ur cpu is 2nd gen Ryzen, in their 3rd gen as i said, they improved IPC and Single core clock, and they are competing with intel, i didnt hear good about 2nd ryzen performance in gaming as u can watch in youtube benchmarks, buy 3rd gen ryzen they have become so much better, i think Ryzen 5 3600 is around 200$. believe me ur cpu sucks, it is only good for editing stuff and multi tasking.
2019-10-20 01:13
I've already spent to much on this pc, changing parts etc. Was thinking more a techincal solution where i don't need to do something physically. Otherwise i might just sell the pc
2019-10-20 01:16 watch this, in Mirage and also on 64 tick server, his fps is dropping below 150 time after time, even with an i5 9400f u gonna get better fps, if u only playing games there is no reason to buy Ryzen 7 or even i7.
2019-10-20 01:20
Damn, his fps is higher than mine, and im on medium settings

3200mhz is decent.
2019-10-26 01:42

2019-10-20 01:15
bruh r5 2600 gives 300 fps easy, what are you talking about... its more than enough, even when streaming
2019-10-20 01:15
300 fps? im not talking about highest or avg here, minimum fps is the most important here, thats the reason intel doing better than AMD for esport titles.
2019-10-20 01:17
I have never dropped under 240fps on both my i7 8700 and r5 2600. Average is around 300. Also new ryzen 3 cpus are doing much better than intel in csgo fps wise, both min .max and avg
2019-10-20 01:24
Prove it, they are bunch of benchmark videos on youtube, and also my friends have 8700k in 15-20% of tense situaitions, it drop below 240.
2019-10-20 01:26
"bunch of benchmarks on youtube" from plebs who leave game on default and not doing basic windows/bios/cpu/ram optimizations for max performance... Both of my PC's work smooth as butter and never drop significant frames no matter how much stuff is happening around in a match
2019-10-20 01:28
ok smooth boy, just record and give me ur youtube link so every one here see how ur fps is not going under 240 a single time.

his pc must be melting if a 9900k drops to 240. but then again i noticed he plays with a 300fps cap, which actually lower your frames a fair bit.

Benchmark with 3dmark or some other shit, then compare it with others on the web, if you get same scores - sell 2700 and go for 3600

2019-10-20 16:02
> Ryzen 2700 > high end yeah dude, it might be higher than mid, but only when you consider it a PC for work (mostly 3d rendering) csgo hates ryzen 1000/2000 and a shitton of other apps do too, and ryzen 3600 easily fucks ryzen 2700x in the ass with a giant dick, so throw it away and buy ryzen 3600 if you really want more fps

Delete 3D Vision if you have it installed, check in your BIOS settings if your motherboard has a Game Mode, and set it on game mode if it has.. Your cpu and ram may be on a power saving mode or sth.. Check the cpu's temps as well.. Also make sure that you havent disabled the multicore rendering option in video settings :D

slowly and surely we will see more and more new amd users start complaining about low fps most games run best off the single thread performance at high frequencies
2019-10-21 10:57
Sure dude :D Swapped old slow 4770K to Ryzen 3600 and every game runs better. The higher frequency did not help much because ipc is much better on 3000-series ryzen. Also power consumption is identical, which is funny because Ryzen 3600 is about twice the perf on multi-thread. Intel is the target of space heater jokes and old tech. Theyve released the same cpu for what? 4 years now? Just add two cores when competition flies past :D

i had a R55 1600X before swapping to the R5 3600 (can recommend btw) and had a problem in the beginning that the CPU was constantly in "Idle-Mode" at 2.2GHz which led to low fps. Maybe check that. Are you using Software to control your CPU/GPU (not to confuse with drivers)? Try turning them off/deinstall. Do you use Gameprofile in the AMD-Radeon-Settings? Try turning it off. Do you have FreeSync? Try turning it off. Do you have a cold beer? Drink it.

i think your problem is only CPU , CSGO is a heavy single core game performance so thats why intel always has a lead on gaming when it comes to CPU ( talking about 2nd GEn only ) with the 3rd Gen they did some improvment but if ur heavy focused only on gaming try sell ur rig and get an intel one with i7 9700k or 9900k. Also try play on higher Res and try the settings iv seen some benchmarks the higher the resolution the better the cpu performed cuz of threads.
2019-10-21 11:19
2700 easily gets more fps than mentioned above
2019-10-21 11:35
or w8 for intel 10th gen, where i3 10th gen = i7 7th gen(4 cores 8 threades), i5 10th gen = i7 8th gen AMD did so amazing work if wasnt for them intel would still sell 4 cores cpu as best one for same high price, right now they made i3 like that
2019-10-21 11:35
The thing is, the difference shouldn't be this noticeable, like will i really get 350 more fps just bcs i change my cpu
2019-10-21 19:20
France SplasHg0d
The ryzen 3000 series really does outperform the 2000 series in csgo. I went from Ryzen 3 2200G with the same GPU to a Ryzen 5 3600. And my fps went up ALOT. I can now hit 1k fps looking into certain corners and usually average 300-400 fps. However, I don't think the 2700 should have as low FPS as you said. You should easily stay over 200-300 with it.
2019-10-23 20:34
anything more than 300fps u wont notice any diffrence or better say it wont matter cuz the max peak on csgo fps based is 300

Update your chipset drivers and then update bios. You can find the downloads on your motherboard manufacturer website. Then make sure all gpu drivers are up to date. If that fails. Take everything apart and put it all back together and do a fresh install of windows.

Because his goal is to get the absolute highest fps possible. And even on high-end machines settings turned to high-very high will lower your overall fps. CSGO isn't about looks, it is about performance. Medium texture detail/Very High Shader detail/ Very high effect detail and FXAA enabled is the best mix of looks and performance. Which is what I recommended.

He didnt say he wants absolute best fps he got problem with pc. With his setup there is no matter what settings he use. Should be +300 With every settings. Second csgo is much more than pixel settings. With high settings u can see better trough fires and its easier spot enemies. Third csgo aint very heavy game. I got Gtx 1080 and i5 6600k @4.5 And it doesnt matter what settings i set. Allways +300 fps. U should help op insted telling him he should lower settings when he clearly should have enough power for +300fps

fx 6300, r9 270x, 8gb ram ddr3 = 250-300 fps in csgo low settings xD i've been meaning to upgrade for a while now but i'm barely playing and i'd have to buy a whole new setup because of the old motherboard
2019-10-24 00:08
This is not flex topic so go away if u don't have anything to say
2019-10-24 07:05
how is it flexing when my setup is terrible
2019-10-24 08:41
Topic is about why op got low fps. Not for post your specs topic. I dont get why people dont get it.

Make sure your integrated gpu is disabled and then go power settings and put high performance. Then download gpuz and cpuid. Run game play for second so your computer warm up open softwares and post pic for me.
2019-10-24 06:59
+csgo is heavily cpu based game so problem is prob there.

The 2700 is a great cpu though so that makes no sense. Also he doesn't have an integrated gpu.

U dont know that he didnt mention motherboard. And u cant know if there is problem with cpu like monday piece.

You sound like a retard. Motherboards don't have integrated graphics. IGPU's come with some CPU's. Has nothing to do with the motherboard.

xmp might be causing this, check your memory speed via cpu-z. a clean windows might also help lastly, check the gpu-cpu temperatures, did you get unexpected shut downs?
2019-10-24 07:53
how xmp can cause this?

The most likely case is that you have a defective pc part and troubleshooting this problem can take a while
2019-10-24 07:53
Can i check this somewhere

download userbenchmark and it will tell you how your computer parts compare to other people's parts so you can see which part is defective

For those saying Ryzen is shit (Intel User) My brother has Ryzen 5 2600, 1060 gtx, 8 gb and plays on 300 fps on Medium settings. So yes, also have you tried to put on "Multicore rendering" on thd CSGO Game settings, it basically just makes the CPU use all cores, if this is turned off thats why
2019-10-24 09:26
i have i5-7200U with intel graphics =60 fps on 640x480 resolution all low settings charging and no other application running at all

I have stable 120-140 fps on Battlefield 1 and Battlefront 2, but when it comes to CS:GO, it's looks not stable, 200-300fps according to how many people in the game, how many objects etc. Ryzen 7 2700 too, just find guide for optimisation, it might helps

Depending on the amount of cores your CPU has, when you install fresh hardware, sometimes the default the CPU picks for the amount of cores to run is half of the actual amount. You can boost your FPS by telling the PC to use all cores. If this isn't the scenario, it could be your VRAM capacity.
2019-10-25 05:06
Check to see if you're boosting properly in-game with ryzen master. i have a 3700x and I was running at around 200fps because it was boosting at 3.8 GHz and I was able to fix it with a bios update.

ryzen 2700 and rtx 2060 isn't high end and 2700 sucks for 144hz gaming, try a 3800x or go with intel.... you can also try some overlock with memories or tutorials like this
