How to make music

Ok, so i was humming melodies and singing stuff that came into my mind on my voice memos for last 3-4 years, but never could write anything meaningful. Recently i found out i can write lyrics now and a few days ago i got really, really depressed and randomly started writing down stuff in my uni notes. And i liked it. For the first time i’m considering music. I want to make it real, but. I used to take vocal lessons in my teens, singing part is not the problem, but i can’t play any music instruments. I have a guitar and i only know how to play a few songs i learned off youtube. And i don’t know how to use fl/ableton/etc. What should i do? Take guitar lessons? Learn software??

Depends on the kind of music you want to make. It's definitely easier to learn software on your own with the help of videos. It's pretty confusing at first because of the amount of shit you can do though.

learn software and if you have demos look for ppl who play it for a studio recording. thats how the things go.

Learn music theory, since things go much faster then. If wanna produce music you should buy a DAW and get some VSTs.

Pay a producer to record and produce a song with you

while in the mean time, you learn any DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). The more you learn about producing, the more specific you can be with what you want if you working with a producer
