The con you mention for thorin is more of a positive than negative. Right now we have too many ''ex-pros'' on the desk. And i don't understand why you have to be a ex-pro to be able to understand and break down the game, while ex-pros might have a bit deeper knowledge about the in-game stuff they often lack the on-camera personality and struggle to articulate themselves well which are two things that I think thorin has mastered.
Just because you're an ex-pro it doesn't mean that you're able to articulate that knowledge well on camera, I personally think that pimp and maniac's analysis isn't that interesting or deep, atleast not deeper than thorin. + thorin is basically an expert on the history of the game. If we're going to talk about someone interesting that has a lot of knowledge about the game then its Janko, and he wasn't ever really a pro at a high level. Shame he's coaching a dead team..
