u OC ur CPU??
2019-10-23 18:46
x cpus gain nothing by OC (1-2% performance for 50w more drain)

1-2 %? are you sure?
2019-10-23 20:11
Yup. Maybe few more % if you spend a lot of money on good cooling... but if you are spending a lot on cooling why are you getting a Ryzen 5?! 2600/3600 really is amazing CPUs especially for the price. No point in paying additional 20-30% more for x version.
2019-10-23 20:16
based on soft for sure but we speaking about games and you wont see any diff by OC your X cpu. But you can easily OC almost every 2600 to 2600X freq
2019-10-23 20:19
i have, no need for the 2600x, good cpu for cs :)

Great CPU for CS. Also great upgrade path with the mobo and comes with a good stock cooler. Don't pair it with anything above a 2060 (probably be better paired with a 5700 or 1660) or you'll see GPU bottlenecking though.

Thats a problem exclusive to your PC. 2700X should get 250-300 most of the time.

Iv tried everything

Everything is tested and benchmarked

Its not "tested" if its failing even one benchmark. CS is a benchmark, and its failing it. RMA your shit or realise that somethings wrong with your PC. 150 is way below what other people are getting.
2019-10-23 18:50
Tested it is not a hardware issue im pretty sure. Fps on other games is relatively good
2019-10-23 18:51
Most people mean ryzen to bad for CS because of bad single core performance.

1st gen Ryzen should average around 200FPS 2nd gen Ryzen should average around 250FPS 3rd gen Ryzen averages around 350FPS, which is the same as the latest Intel chips. You should be getting 250.

This worked for me. - Set power settings to performance - Set Nvidia settings to performance (you’re going to have to dig a bit) - Verify your CS GO steam files - Make sure you’re using stock audio and not ASUS or Gigabyte mixers There’s also configs for FPS boosts

use a cpu benchmark (not games) and compare your score to other people. if its not that your csgo settings are to blame.

I had a 2600 OC'd to 4.2Ghz and upgraded to a 3600. The difference is huge. I gained about 100FPS on average on every map. Go straight for 3rd gen.

I have it with rtx2070. Between 300-500fps on all maps. Sure there are better cpu’s out there. But it’s still a solid pick

If you're looking to buy a Ryzen 5 you're on a budget and the 9600k isn't worth the 8% fps increase for the amount it costs extra. AMD is far superior when it comes to multithreading too, and since last year game developers have been getting better and better at optimising their games to make use of it. I think it will be biggest mistake ever if you throw 100's and 100's at a new pc ONLY for CS. If you're budget building it's a no-brainer imo.
2019-10-23 20:35
this! i bought an 7700k back in the day and 2 years later i had to upgrade because i couldnt play bf5 with 4c/8t. it was lagging so hard when i got shot now i own a ryzen 9 3900x and everything is perfect + i can stream while playing if i want to the 3600 has 6cores + SMT while the 9600k does not and then u need to upgrade very soon because hyperthreading is missing

I've got Ryzen 7 2700 and RTX 2080, videocard is loaded about 40 percent, and not all cores of Ryzen are using by source engine, it gives me pure 200fps. buy Intel or 3000x series, i heard it more better for CS:GO
2019-10-23 20:20
try to get 9600k best price-quality processor

very good, using one myself, i5 i9400f also very good, outperformed r2600 last time i checked. only advantage is ryzen less cpu usage so good for multitasking.

Yeah
