Astralis 2 eras?
Brazil NukebRS
If Astralis starts doing really well here like they did against faze, will they have 1 big era or 2 eras?

3 stripes, vertical = stupid person

3 stripes in general = very stupid person

stripes in general = good mens

Green in flag = bad mens

Didnt astralis already have an era after they won their first majr?
2019-11-09 18:48

no, they had a run, like Team Liquid winning the Grand Slam this year
2019-11-09 18:50
SIT THE FACK DOWN go comment sir!
2019-11-09 18:51
So liquid no era?
2019-11-09 18:52
France OtelloO
No era indeed. A moment at best
2019-11-09 18:57
Liquid just had a 4 month period of domination. Which technically would be an era since an era is a period of time... but man if they had atleast got to the grand final of a major THEN it would've been an era, but with them flopping at the major and until now since after the major i wouldn't call it an era. even though they DID get the grand slam in a record amount of time. I dunno to each their own, i wont call it an era but meh.

Don't compare Astralis' literally only 2 events they won in 2017 and achieved nothing else after to Liquid's insane pre-summer run
2019-11-09 21:46
Hahahahaha. Its hypothetical man chill out. "Insane" "didnt compare" why so mad bro?

Tomorrow their era will finally end.
2019-11-09 18:56
they have no era what do you even mean
2019-11-09 22:40
Astralis always had an era. If they didnt stop playing in 2019 they would have kept winning.

Brazil D1sco
not really, Liquid beat them a couple of times before the player break
2019-11-09 19:19
Only real win from Liquid was Cologne. Before that Astralis never showed up at major tournaments, only some BLAST tournaments.
2019-11-09 21:41
which cologne? 2018? 2019? cant remember liquid winning vs astralis in cologne
2019-11-09 22:41

it was EPL finals i think, not cologne

2 eras because that period this year where liquid were super dominant you can't exactly call it part of an astralis era. but 2 seperate eras to be honest sounds even more sick than just one long era but still here is hoping for a 2nd era
2019-11-09 21:49
Brazil NukebRS
2 eras does sound more sick, but I hope if they do have a second era, that it won't be as dominant as the first, because they made watching cs boring, at least for me

In that era i did not find Astralis to watch sure there were not too many iconic finals with them in from 2018 (mostly because they just took a shit on liquid in those finals numerous times but there were alot of sick games (Astralis vs MiBR ecs season 6 finals and Astralis vs Fnatic also the Astralis vs Faze at the unlimited eggs london major was sick aswell) and the counterstrike they play is fucken beautiful however i don't want them to just dumpster everyone i kinda want it to be competitive however my biggest issue with 2018 wasn't astralis shitting on everyone it was every other team feeling like they failed to step up their game when it mattered or they got gatekept by liquid (Navi and Faze were the 2 teams that got gatekept by them the most from memory since navi always got rekt by liquid) when teams faced them in the semis then astralis liquid was a foregone conclusion.

At least I think that if astralis go back to domination, other teams will realize, which I don’t know how they haven’t already, that strats are more important than aim, and hopefully we will see more games filled with new strategies

here is hoping

2, there hasn't been an era since march
2019-11-09 22:45
if they win iem beijing, ecs. epl, blast finals i would call this the second era
2019-11-09 22:54
United States RealGabeNewel
but they would have to carry those wins into next year and be winning/making finals till march for it to be a real era. if they just win these events itll be like liquid, a period of great form but not enough time to be a REAL era

Astralis has never had an era, CS:GO has always been dominated by Ryan "ryann" Welsh. 2012-Present ryann era
2019-11-09 23:04
India TheSuspect812
they might start another but they've won only 1 event since heir last era ended lol
2019-11-09 23:39
astralis era is now. sk had an era. and astralis is GOAT. in the middle of the era astralis lost some matches. SK lost some matches. but both teams share the same feeling from other teams and fans, the team to be studied and feared. An era is a time where a team is seen as better than others consistently.
2019-11-09 23:44
If they start winning tournaments then yes
2019-11-09 23:47
Europe marQQs
not wining any tournament where they participate = no era
2019-11-09 23:48
Europe sn00b_d0gg
1st era is over. would be the second one
2019-11-09 23:50
I would say there is one long era. You don’t have to win everything to have an era. Their lowest ranking was top3 so I wouldn’t say the era ended they just had some weaker tournaments.

Australia t0rrent
Would be the second era and the start of the astralis aeon

I think the era of eras is over. The competition is FIERCE at the top these days.
