we are all sad about polaks ruining grand dutchy of lithuania and all the old people miss soviets
why do people feel the need that they should control how people live their lives if they arent hurting anyone? same thing applies to morons who cry about abortions
there should be euthanasia clinics around the world, would be very beneficial
Bullying is a big problem in our country but again, I'm not too sure from what age interval are biggest suicide rates
Lithuania is the greatest nation on Earth
Lithuanians invented the wheel
Einstein was Lithuanian
Tesla was Lithuanian
Lithuania colonized the Americas
Lithuania first nation to land on the moon and on mars
Lithuania highest average IQ
These suicide "statistics" are just anti-Lithuanian propaganda
its very hard to said...probably because its in one or second way is bully country....just one people take that seriously and second one like joke...
Yes, cultural thing. It's not that acceptable in society to speak about your mental health in comparison with Western Europe.
Moreover, If you visit a counselor people will think that you're mental even If it's something minor or you're just asking for advice.
is this happens because we are from LITHUANIA?
It's been almost 30 years of our independence. Most of the people expected better life. That might have effect on older people (Have hear about 60-70yo people taking their own lives)
Not sure which age groups dominate the data, but bullying, alcoholism, other addictions, loneliness are big problems.
Yes, there are a lot of suicide prevention happening, especially in schools or universities
Trash country trash wages, but its tryings its best
Lithuania > Irrelevant Norway
Because de are poor compared til other countries in the verden, they er addicted to scamming and terrible things they fail, dont have food, bad jobs, ugly family and suicide. Sad reality over there
cause people have no reason to live
bullying, alchohol, trash wages, loneliness i guess
idk, i can kinda see how Lithuania is depressing to live in, but those statistics are really scary, bullying leads to dark thoughts, not talking about it - which is popular amongst our people. and coming from a lithuanian - life is overrated=d
One of my childhood friends suicided last year
big pressure to do well in school from parents leads to stress, bully or get bullied, alcoholism is a big thing, bad influences for example a lot of kids start smoking/drinking at ages 15 or less because their friends do it. So basically most children won't have a golden childhood to say the least leading to deppresion and stuff like that.
a lot of bullying in school, yes. low wages (also food is more expensive than uk lol.. not even talking about quality..obv uk also has a better quality food), trash educational system, some jobs u cant even get without having connections, for example u most likely wont be a lawyer unless u know someone or have done extremely well and then its like 1 in 10000 chance u can earn decent as a lawyer, basically corruption..in every area of the country, politics too..only recently some mayors of lithuania i.e. vilnius, kaunas, siauliai, druskininkai (i think) mayors have started doing something good and useful.. everything is just trash except we have good and cheap internet and nice girls lmao. my family have ran multiple various businesses in lithuania and its basically impossible to have a good profit without doing something illegal - f.e. evading taxes by paying to workers in cash without a contract, by not paying vat for something.. etc.. in the end some people dont see a point to do anything and hate that and themselves for that which leads to depression i guess
We dont even adress the huge suicide rates in Lithuania. It's really sad that everyone keeps ignoring it ,but oh well
dark shit weather + alcoholism + not going to church anymore
also its very common to know someone who suicided, i know 2 people that killed themselves
Lithuania is garbage country
