it's not a terrible idea at all, the next day you'll sleep at 9/10pm like a 'normal person' and it beats never getting enough sleep, always being late and always being depressed in the morning. From my own personal experience, if I can get past 6-7am without closing an eye, it's as if my body enters in a mode where it consumes its backup energy reserves and I feel strangely reinvigorated. It's not great but it's not nearly as bad as you think it is. Just do it in a weekend if you're in highschool.
