Idk what the point of 2 IGL in one team and 2 players under 1.00 rating, they just need to change someone its clearly not working
2019-11-24 12:08
IMHO chrisJ is only good IGL when he has decent coach behind him, and current mouz coach seems to be useless.

He seems to do more the LMbT did
2019-11-24 12:13
Perhaps you're right, I don't follow mouz that much.
2019-11-24 12:15
no idea but they could try it again but then again karrigan would be useless since his aim skills are not that great thats why he is there for IGLing :D
2019-11-24 12:15
First they need to understand that karrigan and current coach aren't able to solve the problem. They had more than enough time to do that but nothing changed. Mouz management need to think about that.
2019-11-24 12:25
Karrigan is useless anyway

I agree, as a fan i seem to bash mouz's player performances way more and ignore the role the coach plays, it seems lmbt was way better than this guy rejin, given that he has no t1 exp to speak of before mouz and somehow the gamble with frozen is an on/off thing and somehow chrisj's performance is impacted as well, i think mouz would have been a solid t1/1.5 side if we would have had lmbt coach and chrisj igl with some proper experienced firepower in place(looking at konfig who probably went to og) instead of going for mastermind tactician igl
2019-11-24 12:15
I think so.
2019-11-24 12:18
always funny to see dumb fucking comments like this one. "coach seems to be useless".

2019-11-28 12:23
pathetic to think that you as a random mf know shit about how good a coach is when he is only interacting with team and management.
2019-11-28 12:24
Didn't pretend to KNOW anything, learn to read, kid.
2019-11-28 12:25
"seems to be useless"
2019-11-28 12:25
Exactly, never claimed that he IS useless. Or don't you know what "seem" does mean?
2019-11-28 12:29
youre judging him just by fucking appearance. you have 0 idea if a coach is useless or not. literally dumb assumptions.
2019-11-28 13:32
It's my subjective opinion, so what, lol? Don't need to be so mad if you disagree with it.
2019-11-28 14:18
how can you have an opinion on something you know 0 about.
2019-11-28 14:38

Which one almost managed to get to the quarterfinals of the major, almost beating the #2 team in the world? And which couldn't pass the minors.

Almost getting to the playoffs vs not getting close to the major itself. Not even the play-in.

Almost achieved something is surely great achievement, OMEGALUL.

Much more impressive than not even getting a sticker? I'm not claiming they are great achievers, am i? I'm claiming they are better than the old mouz, and could actually get into the major.
2019-11-24 14:54
> Much more impressive than not even getting a sticker? Why are you lying, kiddo? liquipedia.net/counterstrike/FACEIT/2018.. liquipedia.net/counterstrike/ELEAGUE/201.. Old roster have participated in more Majors and even got to Legends in one of those.

I didn't imply they never got a sticker. I was clearly talking about the 0-3 and then failing at the minor, thus failing to get the Katowice sticker
2019-11-24 18:01
Sure, let's ignore all their good results and focus on a single Major where they went 0-3.

All their good results? They won new york and got to the playoffs of one major, which was still before a lot of 2018's evolutions into our current competitive nature. Other than that they constantly bombed out in groups, were incredibly inconsistent and any success turned out to be a fluke. The majors are the pinnacle of the circuit, and they failed strongly. This roster is much more consistent, playing in a much harder time period and are not just getting solid results, but they actually have future promise, plus it would take one change to change the teams future rather than recreate the whole team

2019-11-24 18:16
Has been trash for 6 months and finally won tier2 tournament, of course it's enough now. mouz era is coming!
2019-11-24 18:27
got anything new to add ?
2019-12-08 09:38
Sure. Google "short term vs long term".
2019-12-08 10:08
you are going for the "fluke" argument?
2019-12-08 10:15
I don't like all this "fluke" bullshit. I prefer to operate with "short term" and "long term" concepts instead. Long term results is what I stick to when I judge if some team is good or not. It means that good short term results doesn't immediately make team "good" [in long term]. If we talk about mouz then they surely showed good result at EPL. But does it immediately make them "good"? I don't think so. They were mediocre most of the time in the last 8 months. So as you said it might be a "fluke". Or vice versa it might be beginning of mouz era. For the same reason I wouldn't consider Astralis or Liquid as "bad" teams just because they failed at 1-2 tournaments.
2019-12-08 11:56
that is actually a very good way of putting it and i cant disagree with you..if your original post was as well layed out as this one i wouldnt have bothered answering you.I guess you were just memeing at first, but i can totally get behind your final response

2019-11-24 12:45

2019-11-24 18:33
Ok I was wrong, they're solid tier2 team now with their 3rd win of tier2 event.
2019-11-24 18:36
I dont know man. When I look at the participating teams and current world ranks, around a $500k price pool. Its not screaming Tier2 event.
2019-11-24 18:48
Well, I see 2 teams from top10 and only one from top5... It's surely not tier1 and hard to call it even tier 1.5 tbh but ok I'd be fine with the latter.
2019-11-24 18:54
25% of the participating teams is in top 10 in the world in this event. :P Lets settle on 1.5 then :D I agree with that.
2019-11-24 19:04
it's not even classed as a big event. It's tier 2.
2019-11-24 19:08
Pay attention we just classed it at tier 1.5
2019-11-24 19:10
It's tier 2. hltv.org/stats/players/matches/11816/rop.. hltv.org/stats/players/matches/11816/rop.. Not classed as a big event and only 1 good team (EG) but even they played like shit.
2019-11-24 19:11
Dude I know :D That doesnt change the fact that a lot of top ranked teams (2-20) is participating around a $500k price pool. Like I said; Its not screaming Tier2 (btw. Blast pro, ESL One and dreamhack is concidered big events and the price pool is $200-250k and have similar procent of top 10 teams attending) :)
2019-11-24 19:21
> 25% of the participating teams is in top 10 in the world in this event. Sounds good, but would only make sense if we were talking about tournament with 16+ teams, not with 8. And I wouldn't even take into account Avangar tbh. I like them but they were not that good in the last 2 months, they're still in top10 mostly because of their Major run and Blast win (which was a week after Major).
2019-11-25 07:39
Thats true - I Am just saying a $500k price pool is double compared to some of the so called 1 tier events like Blast Pro - Still some top teams are participating. (might not actually be, I agree) Its not screaming 2Tier well thats how I see it - I do know that it is classed like that. :)
2019-11-25 18:37
Prize pool doesn't matter so much. For example, WESG has had 1.5M prize pool but many teams just skipped it to prepare to Major.
2019-11-26 04:12
Wait - WESG is for same nation players only - So thats a huge factor in why many teams are skipping it - Or dont want to pay the entry/travel fee to participate with mixed teams . So a Major is not the only reason teams are skipping that event.
2019-11-26 20:10
> WESG is for same nation players only - So thats a huge factor in why many teams are skipping it I was talking about teams which were able to participate (all players from the same country) but decided to skip WESG. > So a Major is not the only reason teams are skipping that event. Sure, as I said prize pool doesn't matter so much. Tournaments with even twice lower prize pool can still have higher "prestige value". Better prize pool doesn't make tournament "more tier1"or "less tier2". ;)
2019-11-27 04:46
I understand and respect your point of view :) Even though I liked it even more when we agreed on tier 1.5 :D haha
2019-11-27 18:58
:D
2019-11-28 04:20
We have different points of view but I respect your opinion as well and don't feel like we need to prove anything to each other, so despite I don't fully agree with you -- I'm still fine with "tier 1.5" compromise. :)
2019-11-28 04:38

FaZe trash, Karrigan hero.
2019-11-28 05:03
I'm talking about current mouz roster, lol. During the last ~8 months: 4 months out of top10, never placed higher than top7. FaZe at least won some good tournaments before karrigan IGL style stopped work, and despite they used to choke a lot they clearly were tier1 team unlike current mouz.
