it's funny because most high level players thought the game was a complete pain in the ass to play because of how limited CT-sides were and how boring t-sided stats were. There is legit no map that punishes CT-side aggression more than cbble did and the current cbble is even worse than that version. If you look at official cbble heatmaps ( hltv.org/stats/maps/map/39/Cobblestone?s.. ) you can visually see which site was obviously targeted. No other map has this big of a disparity when it comes to which bombsites were fought for. Look at heatmaps for other maps. None have this big of a difference. It's a fun map to play in shit-tier pugs, but fuck it had so many flaws.

They should make a proper rework of it, this what they've done is just some half-measure. They need to bring it back to pro matches. Come on Valve, please?

because there needs to be an odd number of maps in the pool

That's no reason why there can't be both new and old maps.

Welll... I figured we were talking about how it relates to the pro scene.

We are, but I don't agree with that there need to be so few maps, I think they could handle 11, and if no, take something away, vertigo and d2 first because those are the most uninteresting maps.

The more maps there are, the lower quality cs, because pros have to focus on more maps. 7 is a good balance, solid variety, but not too many.
2019-11-26 06:05
and nine is wayy too many

I miss cobble as well, its very different from the other maps

I really don't want to see the latest cbble they had in the game get put in the comp pool. I'd happily see a version similar to the one we previously had in the comp pool return though.
