I'm not angry whatsoever, but I admit I thought you were angry before, probably mistakenly lol
I have some knowledge of cinema and arts and history of them all, and I can realize at least how Godfather was so influential (not so sure about Goodfellas though, scorsese is really tier 2 or 3 in hollywood imo, not like copolla tier 1 and others), but as I said before, it's not a masterpiece (to me at least).
Also, what I mean with cliché is it is cliché now. A movie using formulas from movies like godfather today, while not refreshing it in any means, are being cliché. Which is the case with the irishman, you will probably agree when you watch it. Best use of it was some joyful debate on this post to be fair, 3h very badly spent I almost slept 2 times lol.
