Russian maidan?
 |
Costa Rica Montanablack
Surely something has to change in Russia... Russia is developing far slower than their "rivals" (EU) and even Ukraine could be far better in some years if they join EU and nothing changes in Russia. So I'm asking hltv if there is a chance of a Russian maidan because I noticed most Russians here are against Putin?

Why? What will Kreml do when millions of Russians protest? Worked in many countries

They will beat the hell out of the protesters.

No capacity to arrest 3 million people. Putin can't do shit when u all protest together in one city
2019-12-03 14:52
They will engage millitary + protesters will have 0 coordination because of blocked and monitored messengers, unfortunately

Kremlin are ex-KGB, they know how to hard counter protests :) For example, they tried to block the only truly non-monitoted by them messenger - telegram, because they know that messengers are the main source of coordination in protests, now they want their own fully moderated internet :D

Kremlin ex-KGB already destroyed real oposition and leaders who may try to make revolution (Nemtsov was last hope). All their other "oposition" are clowns that created to make putin look better in comparison

When I look at Russian parliament they only have Putin party and communists + Nazis in opposition. No other parties allowed lol?
2019-12-03 14:29
Its Putin, commies and Zhyrinovskiy (kremlin clown whose role is to entertain public) who are top 3, 2 and 3 curated by 1. All others irrelevant
2019-12-03 14:33
The last real opposition leader Nemtsov was killed in front of Kremlin and noone investigate it though the murder was caught on cameras lol (cos of obvious reasons) and slowly forgotten. The thing is ,you cant make revolution without strong leaders, thats why its impossible in Russia, imo

How powerful is Dmitri Medwedew compared to Putin?
2019-12-03 14:37
Medvedev was created to switch prime minister/president spots (president can be elected only for 10 years max) to fake democracy elections, in short - he is a fully controlled puppet

We have protests, but they're useless since most of the protesters are close-minded oligophrenic idiots who don't know shit 'bout politics, economics etc. They just photo / film someone getting arrested, they don't even try to do something against arrests together, they just go around screaming "Putin is a theft!", or "Cops are the shame of Russia!" etc, that's all they do. Protests' leaders are also retards that don't even know how to lead a protest, how to disorientate police and shit. I don't think we'll get a coup d'etat in the near future, but even if we will, this won't be the same people.

Ukraine is NOT joining EU (or Nato). It´s too poor, too corrupt (120th of 180 countries. Still improved 22 spots since last year and is now less corrupt than Russia) and too far away.

The only thing Maidan changed is 300-400$ avg salary to 250-150$. Russia need strong leader first of all, good example is Joseph Stalin, regardless of what evil tongues say our nation flourished under his command. Our people will no longer buy provocations aka Nemtsov, Navalny...there is long list of provocateurs not worth to mention. The day we rise is going to be right moment to rise unlike what happened in poor Ukraine, I love this country so much, its unspeakable how easily they got tricked, now they're a part of someone else game, I always wished them the best.
