what kind of music are u interested?
2019-12-03 11:05
Anything. It just gotta sound good. I’m basically melomaniac I can listen to any “genres” although I don’t think music should have claims for genres at all

"music should have claims for genres at all" Why not? Genres are needed for organization imho. It would be difficult if everything was just called "music".
2019-12-03 11:26
these genres are so superficial and there are songs that don't belong to any genres tbh

What genres tho. There are many which are completely fine. And there is nothjng wrong with them existing. But yes there are "genres" mainly not even genres but people still call some bands that. Shit lile space metal, pirate metal and i cant think of any other rn.

I search for playlists on Spotify. I like Drum and Bass so I will search for user made playlists and listen to them, add the songs that I like to my own playlist. Also daily mixes, release radar and friends whom I visit festivals with suggest songs :)

youtube music suggestions work for me
2019-12-03 11:45
Well first of all just leave Spotify, there are a million good band or artist. My suggestion is to listen to albums at first, then there is a list on rolling stones page which titled "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" and pick some you can't really go wrong with that with some exeptions. Then find some band that you sympathize with and listen to their "hidden" stuff. For an a example my favourite band of all time are Pink Floyd,The Beatles later stuff,CCR,Radiohead,George Harrison,The Clash,Green Day,Sum 41,Oasis,Liam and Noel Gallagher,Linkin Park,Queen,Rolling Stones,Simon and Garfunkel,Tool,21 Pilots and the list goes on.I suggest these bands. And some albums:Animals,The Wall,Animals,Wish You Were Here,The Divison Bell,Cosmo Factory,Whats the story morning glory,Abbey Road,Sgt Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band,Cosmo Factory,American Idiot,Lateralus,Bridge Over Troubled Water and the list goes on.I listed many genres of music so choose what you like.I hope I could help you.
